Did POSITIVEFREE actually ask why duallies are allowed? Have they never seen one before? In this case, the truck actually (usually) serves a purpose like a commercial truck would. Today I was driving on a busy 4 lane road and was hit by a biker crossing the middle of the road perpendicular to the flow of traffic. There was no time to stop and now I’m in the hole for a new bumper of my Honda Odyssey. The man who hit me doesn’t have money to pay for it and insurance doesn’t apply because he was on a bike. GET DASHCAMS PEOPLE. I do not have one and I am working on getting one because of this.

6:07 the cammer was stupid here. I'm sorry, but they were going way too fast with halted traffic on the left. So many ways that goes wrong, and there's so often people trying to turn through the stopped lane or get out of it. Slow down next to halted traffic... Edit: Looking again, the person pulling in seems at fault. It appears they caused the jam in the first place. Still, the cammer should've slowed enough to react to things like this

@GamerGateVeteran 21 сағат бұрын
7:02 Sounds to me like places such as that shouldnt be allowing cars to park on streets that narrow. That isnt the truck drivers fault any more than it would be a big rig drivers fault. All cars and trucks have to conform to the same set of rules for the max allowable width of a vehicle, and those are put in place based on the regulations about the width of lanes. If the truck is having to swerve into another lane simply from parked cars blocking his right of way, thats on the parked cars and on the city for letting the cars park there. Dually trucks serve a variety of purposes for their owners and for society. Odds are, some product you have purchased at some point in your life arrived in your possession directly or indirectly thanks to a dually truck driver taking a "hot shot" fright trip. Also commonly used to haul large travel trailers or farming equipment or livestock trailers. Those and many more reasons, are the reasons those trucks are "allowed".

Another went through a red light because he couldn't wait. The first one was a car turning on yellow with a lady in oncoming traffic racing the light. She had to brake hard to stop. @7:08 Why should these trucks not be allowed? They aren't any wider than full size delivery trucks or semis. They are well between the white lines. What are you complaining about?
@lonniemcclure4538
@lonniemcclure4538 Күн бұрын
7:09 - Why? See that substantial trailer hitch? That truck could be used for towing a heavy trailer that has enough tongue weight that single tires would be over capacity. The truck could even have a 5th wheel hitch in the bed, and those type trailers can put even more weight on the truck. 9:00 - Typical heavy truck behavior. They move slow and often aren't going to sit there for a long time waiting for a longer gap (especially with other traffic behind them) when they know if they pull out anyone paying attention coming from the opposite direction will have time to slow down.

7:57 As a new driver, if you've never slammed on your brakes go find a piece of road right now where you can do that safely and check it out. You need to understand how your vehicle behaves under emergency conditions. An accident is the worst time to find that out.

0:46, genius cammer, if you had space to swerve away and still turn into the lane when the car was standstill after the near crash, could you not have just gone a bit further towards the light and made the turn instead of cutting across someone else's path? Not saying the other person was right, but cammer was not either.

The car going straight was speeding & attempted to "beat the light" on yellow which it's definition means "prepare to stop" not hurry up as some people wrongly believe. Therefore your statement should be "the accident is 100% the fault on the person trying to beat the light. Columbus, OH"
