I think doom had the rhymes and flow but doof had more jabs and insults, even breaking away from the beat to clown on him a bit, and i think that's what makes him take this battle. In a cypher tho doof gets cooked.

I think Doof ones mainly off of the "but they missed all my birthdays entirely by choice" and "Reed tried to warn you, you paid him back well by sending his son footdiving straight into hell". Doom had better flow, but Doof burnt him to a crisp

Doof had more jabs sure but they were so weak and not even clever in rhyme, or style so they felt aimless. Doom kept the rhyme scheme and made actually clever jabs at doof, doof was just pointing things out while doom was doing that and referencing both universes and his own power in the same line

@@hands_0n543 I disagree, the majority of DOOM’s bars were pretty soft and focused more on wordplay. Doof got on him with that mark on his face, the bit where he actually canonically sent Reed Richards child to hell, and especially that “suits you” line. Lots of people did not catch that one. Basically, DOOM turned his Ex I think it was? Into a suit or sacrificed her for his leather shit. Marvel was wild

@@Linear_Line_423 Doom putting Richard’s kid in hell isn’t really a diss because Doom chose to do that, so it creates more of a “so what?” moment. The diss about the parents didn’t hit hard either because dissing someone for things beyond their control feels weak. Doof = parents missed it by choice is worse than Doom = parents died, so it’s more of a self-burn on Doof. It reminds me of the Roosevelt vs. Churchill ERB, where the diss about dead parents was flipped and had a much bigger impact

@@joeygreber1864 But that's why the kid diss is more savage, because DOOM did it purposefully and somewhat regrets it. When DOOM became God Emperor he had an epiphany of sorts, like "what did I do? why did I do any of this?" Lots of other rappers will get on you about anything. You like the same sex? they'd get on you about that. Did your dog just die? they'll get onto you about that too. Its messed up because the entire reason Victor has that scar is because he tried to talk with his mother in hell.

Doom style wasn't really that great. It was good but it not enough to say he won. Ifwe go bar from bar though, then Doof straight up roast him by not only throwing back his insults sith more layers, but also not taking any of Doom bait. Hell, he straight up said that his parents chose to not be arpund, but at LEAST they ARE alive unlike Doom who aren't.

@angelicwarrior118 It was a self diss that was slap Doom ego as well. It was a show od domination that Doom couldn't recover from. And to be frank. Doom was more or less spitting shit Doof was already aware of wasn't even phase from as he accepted all them. Hell, the only time Doom had anything legitimately good is when he talk about himself. Doof went all in with his Losts, flaws and even poke fun at his logic. Like not trying to take away anything from Doom, but Doof just hit different everywhere.

@@doctorwho3708 I’ve been in minority opinions before (let me disclose to you that I thought Lofi Girl, Denji, and Saul Goodman won their AvA rap battles), but when you appear to type almost nothing in favor of my side or be super against me, then I get extremely defensive. I counted the amount of lines I thought were Don DeMarco disses from each verse and here’s what I found: Doom verse 1: 6-7 Doofenshmirtz verse 1: 4 Doom verse 2: 12 Doofenshmirtz verse 2: 9 I don’t know about you, but Doctor Doom had a lot more good disses than you are making out. Now don’t get me wrong, I really like both’s characterizations and the Marvel references, but my main criterion is the amount of viable disses from each side. Another thing to keep in mind is that I don’t factor in a “character doesn’t care” aspect, so while I can understand people defending the self-diss, I cannot, since having deceased parents that weren’t too harsh is better than having alive parents that treat you poorly, and as a result, at least Doom’s parent have an understandable reason as to why they don’t show up. In the end, we can have differing opinions; there is nothing wrong with that. But when it appears to me that you are “forcing” me to side with you and almost providing nothing redeeming on the side I’m on, I, like I said before, get extremely defensive.
