Thank you very much! 😀 Not only does Dan do mixing and mastering, sometimes he'll be playing an instrument--depending on what's necessary (including his harmonica, as we saw in "Amazing Grace"). I am ABSOLUTELY with you regarding the "straight singing." Dan can SING! He has the innate feeling for everything he ventures into, and he translates it into schooling his voice to go EXACTLY where he wants it to go, every...single...moment of the song. You also got me laughing and nodding my head in super agreement, regarding the storytelling. I'm a musician, a singer, and a writer. If I don't hear all of those sings in a song, I'm probably not going to listen to it more than twice, at the most. If I hear all the components, and if they lead correctly to the climax, after a good beginning, then I will listen to the song as often as possible, forever. This is one of those for me, definitely. "Amazing Grace" is another--no matter how many verses get added. The Battle Hymn of the Republic (if done well--in a military style, the way it should be), is also one of my favorites of all time. One of the things I like about Home Free's choice of songs (most of the time), is that they, too, nearly always use all of those techniques--successively and successfully. As I'm watching this, I have you beat! I just filled my second cup of iced coffee with real cream. Aaaahhh! Thanks for the GREAT reaction. Super job, sir!

I have heard the term "One-Hit Wonders" for artists who have just 1song go to #1 on the charts. So there are so many things to say about his skills, I could write a novel and could never find find all the words to say because they don’t exist yet. Family and friends would be totally shocked hear me say I am now totally speechless when it comes to Dan. This song gives me goose bumps and tears whenever I listen, and there are times I can’t listen to it as it is so overwhelming. There is so much joy, love, hope and passion in this song. It makes me want to grab my sword and join in to fight for this new world. Dave your reactions are so wonderful. I just don’t how you can not listen to his songs and then not go and listen to them all ahead of time. I just need to tell you something - I never listen to music, Well until Dan popped up on my phone when I was looking at fraudetors video. It was Amazing Graze. 01.01.24 and I couldn’t sleep because the pain I have in my body (psoriasis artritt). I klikked in, listen to his song, and I was just blown away. The first reaction channel I klikked in to was yours. You and Dan makes my pain easyer to handle. You make me laugh and Dan heal my soul. Like balsam for my pain. So I just want to Thank you Sir for all the joy you give me. And I learn so mutch from you. Now I listen to music all day. Well only Dans music. And your reaction channel. I love his voice and his vocal range. I don't think there has been a song he's done that I haven't liked. They lyrics of this song are so relevant today. Very positive and uplifting.
