Humic acids are leached using ph# 11 alkaline washes, whatever acidicy was in the humates have been nutralized and and the PH is now alkaline~not acid. Better to focus on compost which has Fulvic acid. Or use a deep sea humic shale like the Cozy Dell formation in Ojai.

Hey there Paul, thanks for being such a wealth of info with these awesome plants! I have a growing addiction and recently spotted my first bloom ever on my Natural Mystic trellis. We have been fighting lots of rain and relentless heat here in SW FL. One of my tasks has been to better my soil quality. I started using bagged topsoil and black kow at 1:1. I augment with blood and bone meal as well. One of my biggest struggles is fighting yellowing. Would magnesium (Epsom salt) help with the nutrient uptake? Also, what have you found to be dragonfruit's preferred soil ph? Again, thanks for all you do. You don't know how much of a help it has been!
