@4:59, Yes it's not pressed in there, it's just held in there with dirt. I just took my injector apart on a International B275 and it's quite similar. Was able to press the nozzle out on an arbor press. On top of the nozzle there's 3 holes and you have to make sure that they are clean. Those 3 holes are big (Ø0.125") at the top but where they come out and you can't see where they come out, it's inside the small hole of the nozzle that you were holding up at the light. If I remember correctly, it's like Ø0.012" so be careful if you put a wire in there. I used a Ø0.010" brass wire down the 3 bigger holes on top and it came out the bottom of the nozzle, obviously one at a time. That's where your fuel travels thru to get to the piston. Great video.

Suggest you check the Shop Manual - you are missing a copper sealing washer .The missing copper washer goes under the return line collar. You are also missing all the spring clamps on the return hoses. You've used return hose that looks much beefier than oem ,so maybe you don't need the clamps

IMhO: Running a fuel tank with big dose of "Seafoam" fuel cleaner ... through that fuel system, ... might be a good 1st choice option; ... then go from there. I purchased that same tractor in running condition; yet to be restored. Thanks for your video.

Looks like 1 and 2 had already been replaced as they have no paint but 3 looks original as it has factory paint still

Its a good practice to run some powerservice fuel treatment once in a while to help the pump survive the garbage fuel we have nowadays

I will definitely keep that in mind. Iv been wanting to run some high quality additives, but they are so expensive. For a quart of anti stiction it’s like $90.. I can get an injector for this thing for like $30 😂 I wouldn’t mind to run some type of additive, just have to find one that not too expensive and also one that actually works. Thanks for watching!

Did you use normal open end wrenches on the high pressure fuel lines? I tried to tighten the fitting on the pump and an 11/16” Snap-on flare nut wrench will only work if I start from one end. I can’t get it on an inside fitting (2 or 3 on a 4 cylinder V-1501). I haven’t tried the fitting on the cylinder head yet but they seem to be down in a hole and no good access for a wrench. I’m wondering if I need a Crows Foot Flare Nut Wrench. 😊

If I remember correctly, I had to disassemble the top half of the injector, then I’m pretty sure is used a deep well socket to remove it I believe.

I have an L245DT that won’t start. I drained the fuel tank and added new fuel. I changed the fuel filter. When I loosen the nuts on the fuel lines at the injectors there is no fuel spurting out when I crank it. It was running fine last fall. When I remove the fuel line at the pump there is NO fuel reaching the pump. The fuel line is clear, I can blow through it. Does the fuel pump “suck” fuel from the filter or is that a gravity flow. Seems like the fuel filter is slightly below the fuel pump so gravity might not work. I also read about a fuel lifter on some models. I don’t think mine has the lifter. Any ideas? Thanks

The fuel gets to the pump by use of gravity. The fuel pump shouldn’t have to suck the fuel through. You should have fuel coming through the hose. You either have a blockage in the fuel line somehow or you could possibly have a vapor lock situation. Maybe the fuel cap is not venting and causing a vacuum which won’t allow fuel through the line. Start by getting fuel to the pump, then the fuel lines have to be blead of air. Hopefully this gets you going in the right direction. Thanks for watching!

@@goodolboys713 Thanks for your answer. My Kubota dealer service department told me the fuel pump sucks the fuel from the filter, but I didn’t believe that. I connected a funnel to the fuel line and elevated it higher than the pump and filled it with fuel and it started and ran well. After much to-do I got it running normally. I Drained the old fuel. Filled with new fuel. Replaced the fuel line between the tank and filter, though I could blow through it. Replaced the fuel line from the filter to the fuel pump. Replaced the fuel filter. Loosened the fuel filter to allow fuel to fill the filter and overflow and then tightened the filter again. Had fuel running out at the pump connection via gravity. Purged the air at the injectors. Would hit a few shots as I cranked it and after MANY attempts to start, it did. Thanks again.

It’s coming from the fuel system some where. There’s 2 ways I can think of that diesel would get into oil. 1 leaking from the injection pump? It’s in the engine runs on a cam and is inside the motor so I could definitely leak into the oil. Or number 2 a stuck open injector or leaking injector that’s leaking past the rings and into the crankcase. I’m sure there could be other possibilities. Hopefully this gives you a start and somewhere to look for issues. Thanks for watching!

The seal is under the return line connection. Its aluminium so its crushed on there. The shim is the injector breakoff pressure. That nozzle is screwed, I can see it from here. And bro CLEAN UP!!!! You can eat off my workshop floor!!

benc what do you see that is wrong with injector? I know that there is one more part that is part of the nozzle peice that he did not remove but I would really like to know what you see is wrong. I'm working on an s2800 today and could use the input. thanks
