Thanks, had a newer model where there was also a screw in the middle under a white warranty void sticker. Same HHD. I also thought the remote might be handy if you've lost or broken yours and can somehow program it to the right manufacture (I'm still working on that)

Well done sir, I have often wondered on the contents of the IINEt STB, a western digital HDD 1TB, terrific! Re-use technology!

Thanks for posting this. I have one of these and would like to salvage the hard drive. Did you have any issues reformatting the drive?
@JasonStorm6 жыл бұрын
Hey, sorry about the late reply I only just noticed it, no I did not I just reformatted it like normal and it has been running fine in my computer.

Please ditch the effects, and focus on the box and how to open it, not on great view of your face and little else.

Thanks for the video Jason! I've removed the HDD but it doesnt show up on my computer. I tried connecting it directly to the motherbaord using the computer's SATA cables and also via a usb but neither works. Am I doing something wrong?
@JasonStorm5 жыл бұрын
Yeah the hard drive is in a different format the computer might not see if on windows you should be able to press win + r and type diskmgmt.msc find the drive and re format

Too many video effects... not required... and made the video hard to watch.
