Ace. I said it was rod knock. You could hear the rattle come in and out as it came on/off load. Just about to get out to the workshop in -4oC temps here in the U.K. to finish my latest engine build 👍 Think I’ll need my big coat!

The problem with your powder coat is that it will make everything else look shabby. More powder coating to do.

Pretty sweet. Is rebushing the connecting rods a job that requires special tools? Don’t you just pressing out the old bushings and press in new ones?

You could do them at home but reaming the bushes could get tricky. They do have to have tight tolerances
