Realign the forks and loosen the front brake caliper spin the front wheel, engage the front brake and tighten the front brake caliper while continuing to hold the brake lever engaged. This will align the brake pads with the rotor correctly, which will dramatically improve your braking….should have been done this way when they replaced the forks.

15:13 I fell down due to this cut-off issue. Luckily, nothing serious happened since I was going at less than 10 km/h. I'm not sure if it’s because the engine wasn’t warm enough. I’ll be more careful moving forward. These days, keeping this in mind, I’m accelerating while slowing down. 😥 And the app is not working anymore we cant play music or maps. firmware version FOTA 11.61 with pixel phone tried to delete app remove cache and pair and up pair .. no luck. What happened to the tank bag they mentioned? I don’t think they’re going to sell accessories anytime soon. I understand the concept of 'you get what you pay for,' but that doesn’t mean I have to compromise on everything. The chain already started getting rust. Guys, if you're considering buying a Himalayan, avoid it at all costs. Go for the upcoming BMW F450 instead.

I faced similar issue of engine cutting off in 2nd gear in slower speeds, I changed air filter and added fuelx that solved the cut off issue completely, and 1st and 2nd gears are completely transformed with new setup

Showa branding is there. You have to remove the cap. It is a rubber cap which comes in new bike too

My H450’s left shock absorber leaked, and the oil likely made its way to the brake assembly. The company replaced the shock absorber, but now I’m noticing the front brake bite is gone same as yours. The company guy says the brake has gone 'hard' and needs to be replaced, even though my brake pads were brand new.

I am also having engine cutoff issue. It actually restarts the bike...like someone has switched off by key and then switched on again.

I do not think this an issue with brake pads, the play which you mentioned is missing. I have seen similar issue with my old bike, which did not have ABS, it was an issue with the MC kit.

Yeah zero play at the lever. Will have to check another H450 to compare it. What’s the MC kit?

@Ghan-u6m I am not criticizing you but it's always wise to wait atleast a year before investing in a new bike. That way any niggles are sorted out and the customer does not have to bear the issues.

Re has untrained service labour, My 1 month old Him 450 done only 800km had a twisted forks due to a light fall while standing , they asked me to claim insurance and replace entire suspension assembly T , both forks. My bike was running very well till first servicr , once RE service centre touched my bike all sort of issue are unleashed , misaligned wheels , rear wheel axle was lose , front break caliper vibrating and making loud noise , Clutch wire and harness wrongly done All the courtesy of - Kings Royal Riders Hinjewadi

@@Maayyuurr raise the issue with RE directly. It is Modus operandi of service centre to push customer towards Insurance claim for small things.
