Is it possible to change 24v/4A DC charger to 48v2A,replace output caps to 63v,transformer will handle that ?

Hi! Our e-bike charger got very hot while charging, and i smell something bad. In the morning when I tried to charge again it didnt worked anymore. The light in the charger is not lighting it doesnt really work. What could probably the problem? Hope to hear answers from you. Thank you!🙏🙏🙏
