I can see Steve Allen saying after revealing the "I won Steve Allen for a day" secret, "My wife has no objection, by the way. She says she can use a vacation!"

If you're not already a member of our Facebook group, now is a great time to join! Every Sunday evening (10:30pm NYC time, naturally) a bunch of us watch an episode at the same time so we can chat about it as we watch. We've been doing this all year, and it's always a blast-- the time ***flies*** by. If you're interested, please check out the group and join in the live chat tonight! And if you are interested in joining in, you'll probably want to delay watching this episode till the chat starts tonight! (There's more information in the group.) Link to the WML Facebook group: facebook.com/groups/728471287199862/ Please click here to subscribe to the WML channel if you haven't already-- you'll find the complete CBS series already posted, and you'll be able to follow along the discussions on the weekday "rerun" videos: kzbin.info/door/hPE75Fvvl1HmdAsO7Nzb8w

I need help! My brother was on What's my Line in the early 70's. I am trying to locate a copy of that show but have been unsuccessful. He is almost blind now so I'm hoping someone may have an idea how to find it before he totally looses his site. He was a DJ at a small radio station near Benson NC and his line was he played music for chickens. Local farmers swore that their chickens laid more eggs when BJ ..Bob Jenkins played the chicken music segment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I really wish I could help, Ed, but the syndicated series from 1968-75 hasn't been seen much since it originally aired. GSN ran it for a while in the 1990s, but they never even got through rerunning half the series. Your best bet would be to contact the company that owns these shows, Fremantle. Sometimes they have helped people in situations like this. But it's going to be tough if you can't tell them which specific episode your brother was in-- there were 1,300 episodes! I sincerely wish you the best of luck finding the show, and my deepest sympathies for your brother's loss of sight. Sorry I can't help more!

Ed, if you can tell me (1) who the panelists were and more importantly (2) who the Mystery Guest was on that program, that's the only way I could do a spot check and see if its among the some 120 odd episodes I have (also if Wally Bruner was hosting or Larry Blyden since that would lock down whether it was before or after 1972).

Apparently, the Fingerhut's are still putting out their catalog. lol I like Henry, he's a funny version of Simon Cowell, who I don't like at all.

The audience must love it when the unexpected happens like when the buzzer sounded and the dog got mad at Steve and poor Steve's trying to calm the dog down. I guess they were thinking, "Finally, we get to see Steve lose his cool! How is he going to react to this?" It's just like they were with Johnny Carson. The audience doesn't hate him, it's just the way they are. They don't want to see him really get hurt. If it came to a part where he really couldn't survive, they'd be like, "Oh, my God! He's really lost it! I'm so sorry! I thought you'd be able to save yourself! I guess I was wrong! I'm so very, very sorry!"

You’re absolutely right! That was my great grandmother’s husband, Paul. Don’t believe the BS that he fed them cognac and eggs. That was Tilly who treated them to extravagant treats. Paul used to beat the crap out of those dogs!
