Nick just moves the needle depending on the team. If one of his teams plays bad, it’s just week one, if it’s a team that he’s against, they are who we thought they were and vice versa. Nick making the Caleb comparisons to those other HOF'ers is disingenuous because people aren't saying that game 1 was an indictment on his whole career. They're telling him to pump the brakes on this season because Nick has them IN THE SUPER BOWL. Here is how the first seasons played out for those QBs he mentioned: Elway: 47.5 comp%, 7 TD, 14 INT, 4-6 record Manning: 56.7 comp%, 26 TD, 28 INT, 3-13 record Aikman: 52.9 comp%, 9 TD, 18 INT, 0-11 record I think it’s fair to tell him to pump the brakes on Caleb.

He's the most disingenuous character in all of sports media. Unsurprising
@TylerHolt-n5q5 күн бұрын
It's disingenuous to leave out the fact that he thinks they're good enough denfensively and have the weapons. He wouldn't have picked them if the team was bad and he made that clear, whether you agree or not.
@jayhawkjumper10385 күн бұрын
@@TylerHolt-n5q Then why wasn’t he already awesome in game 1 with all that factored in? Because there are usually growing pains for a rookie in the NFL and Nick is so obsessed with Caleb that he seems to think there won’t be any for him. Find me a QB who had that poor of a first game as a rookie and then went on to have a great season that year, let alone make the Super Bowl. Again, not saying he won’t be a great QB but telling Nick to “pump the brakes” is more than fair.
@TylerHolt-n5q5 күн бұрын
@@jayhawkjumper1038 You're not understanding the logic, and your response just means you're a stat watcher. He thinks (and the proof is already there because of last game) that the Bears could win games even with a bad qb (duh they did last year). That means even with an average qb they will be a playoff team, and a SB contender if they have an above average qb. Nick thinks Caleb will be above average. It's that simple. Your defense or weapons don't make you awesome, they change your stats.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Burrow get carried by his defense in both playoff runs? I think I remember him having a chance to win both the Suoer Bowl and AFC championship and choking. 11:17 - But aside from a single time 3 seasons ago, he hasn't. He didn't come through in the Super Bowl, despite multiple opportunities, so the only thing you can reference is the Chiefs playoff game 3 seasons ago. And don't bring up old regular season wins, nobody cares. Josh Allen has beat Mahomes in Arrowhead each of the last 3 seasons, but it doesn't matter since he hasn't done it in the playoffs. Even if you count more recent history, Burrow has lost to the Chiefs in the playoffs more recently than he has beaten them. So how far back are we supposed to go? We're now starting season number 4 since that singular playoff win. Perhaps it's time to move on from "oh he's just so clutch & always comes through!"

Nick contradicts himself to a painful degree and justifies it with 'nuance'.. How can you 1. Acknowledge guns could be hiding behind a tinted window, while 2. Saying the cop should be ok with someone refusing to keep their window down upon request, dismissing it as the cop just being overtly aggressive. This wasn't Tyreek *only* being disrespectful. He was presenting himself as a potential threat by (rudely) refusing to keep his window down. Being rude certainly didn't help, but it's the lack of self-awareness from Tyreek (and you apparently) that this only escalated because the cop could/should reasonably be able to see inside the vehicle.
