Your twistout looks great! We have 2 totally different routines (I like leave-ins and creams), but kinda similar results.

@@LakaciaLloyd I’m similar to you - except I use a gel also = leave-in, cream, gel; and my twist-outs last over 7 days w no retwisting. Also, I live in New Orleans, so humidity is super high all of the time; nonetheless, I get smooth, juicy, well-defined, long-lasting twist-outs. I believe that the products used are without a doubt *the* most important step to avoid frizz and keep definition. I love Pattern leave-in, Mielle “twisting soufflé”, and either Redken or Cantu gel. What’s important is that the gel *not* have glycerin high on the ingredients list, and that the holding agent is pvp/va - gotta be the pvp/va combo - for long-lasting results. Nevertheless, Kayla’s hair in this video came out great.

I love how you don’t separate the hair after you take down the twists!! It looks so much more full & defined & I’m sure it lasts longer! I wish I had more dense hair so I could rock them bc my hair ALWAYS looks like a wash and go when I take them down 😩😩

I wouldn’t, personally. It’s a little closer to gel and tends to react with a humid environment.

Thank you for the wake up-using twisting creams without hold and cause you to have to retwist every other night. That has worn me out
