He's completely wrong about Billy Fury not being a writer. He charted in 1960 with his own composition 'Collette', and released 'The Sound of Fury' LP on which every composition was his own. He was the first British R n' R singer who ever did write their own material.

Hi Steve: Ha, it is a bit rickety, belongs to the book shop. When I film I bring my own mic and recorder, etc. Filming in tight quarters like small book shops is tough, a lot of folks jammed in to a small smace. If you are financially able you could offer to give Book Soup a decent mic stand and mic. I know they would appreciate it. I fixed their speaker a couple times, but I'm on minimal SS retired and need every penny to buy used equip for myself. They haven't had any events for over a year, and getting permission to film is daunting in itself. I don't know how it's going to look this year. Thanks for your comment and sharp eye. Anyone with a used or good mic stand and Mic send it or drop it off to Book Soup.
