My breastfeeding journey ended at 3 months just because I couldn’t make enough after also having a very traumatic birth, it was hard at first to let that go but my bond with my son is just as strong as if I were to breastfeed, you’re her whole world, you were made for each other and nothing can change that bond you guys have just by being her mom. You’re doing amazing Jaci💞

THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR BREASTFEEDING JOURNEY! I nursed our daughter for 3 months and recently had to switch to formula because she was getting so sick from my milk. It was so hard to make that decision to switch but you are so right that we need to do what is best for the child. We tried everything for 12 weeks to make it work - but my daughter was suffering because I selfishly wanted to keep breastfeeding. I needed to hear your story today and I truly believe this was the most perfect timing (we switched two days ago and I’ve been so upset about it). So THANK YOU! ❤

So happy for you, Jaci!!! 💗You're freaking glowing. I had to stop breastfeeding after a couple of months when I went back to work full-time (a full-time WFH mom is a damn balance lmao). All of my emotional turmoil went out the window when I realized my relationship with my baby girl *actually* became better than ever; I felt more in control, stable, happy, and balanced. Our daughter is growing perfectly and as smiley as ever because of it (even hitting all of her milestones early!). 💗 You're a wonderful mother already; always do what feels best for you and YOUR family. Sending love to all y'all! 💗

Appreciate you sharing your experience. We are three years into our IVF journey, about to start our next FET. Thank you for sharing about your breastfeeding journey. I gave birth on June 22nd to my sweet girl and NOTHING went as planned. On top of becoming a single mom at the end of my pregnancy I felt like I had everything against me . Breastfeeding was such a challenge for me and I feel so much better once I decide to stop. I agree with Chelsey. It’s not quitting. Every amount that you breastfed was beneficial for your daughter and too should be proud that you’re able to do that even if it was for a shorter period of time than you had planned.

I pumped for 5 months while in the NICU, my mental health was not at its best, and then felt like a “failure” when I started using formula. I am so so INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL for you speaking about not breastfeeding and it makes me just feel so much less alone. I’ve never heard an “influencer” speak on this and you just don’t know how much this means to me🫶🏻 you are INCREDIBLE and the BEST mom. Benny is so lucky!!

My fav thing about watching the pod on KZbin is I can comment on every single one. 😂😏 okay first of all Jaci OH MY GOSH I can’t believe you went through all that! I had hypertension when I was pregnant with my second and had to go to the ER after he was born for high blood pressure and I’m still traumatized from having to go to the hospital at midnight with a 2 day old when I was SOOO tired. He’s 3 now and I’m pregnant again and it’s taken me this long to feel calm getting my BP taken again. I can’t even imagine all of that. You have such a good attitude. Also, don’t feel bad for ONE second about not breastfeeding. It’s already so hard your first time even with a healthy baby and postpartum experience. Truly the universe was working against you on that. No way anyone could have done that being in the hospital that sick for so many days. Anyway, wow. Being a mom is so amazing and so hard and unfortunately your journey has started that way. It will get so much better though! Benny is perfect! Congratulations!

Something that irritates the hell out of me in regards to childbirth in a traditional hospital is how often the woman literally knows nothing about what’s being given to her. Not saying you wouldn’t have chosen to have the magnesium but it bothers me so much they don’t give you all the details. I went through a similar exp (preeclampsia/induction) and there was sooo much I didn’t find out about until later. 😩
