The first time I had to breastfeed in public I was on a bus. I used to have to take my baby to the hospital twice a week for some physical therapy, so I had to be on time. I was sitting in a seat that had another seat facing it and two old ladies came and sat in the seat opposite me. When they noticed my baby they gushed and chatted to me and never even mentioned that I was actually feeding her. They did not care at all. They were just so lovely and also a hilarious pair of old ladies. It gave me a lot of encouragement to not worry about what anyone might say. This warms my heart so much. I had that experience at a sitting area in a mall when I was very discreetly nursing my newborn daughter. It was two older women that approached me and told me it wasn't appropriate to nurse my baby in public. I wanted to cry...and I did once I reached the bathroom to feed her. They made me feel horrible for doing something that is only natural. This was 30 years ago, and I wish I was as tough then as I am now, because I would've given them a piece of my mind. I'm proud that the majority of people here are still aware that breastfeeding is completely normal and natural. Breasts are not sexual, they are there solely for the purpose of feeding babies, and it's heartbreaking and infuriating that some people think it's so inappropriate. Mainstream media has overly sexualized breasts, and I hate it too. I'm happy that people are standing up to ignorant idiots who berate or shun women for literally keeping their babies alive. Breastfeeding is not inappropriate. Starving a hungry baby is. 💖💖

At least you won't be throwing personal insults like the 2 men did, especially the one that said he understands everyone has their opinion but he obviously didn't understand it bcoz he didn't respect the female bully's opinion (she was voicing her opinion in a respectful manner and not just blatant rude or being a karen) and just started throwing insults at her just bcoz he disliked her opinion.
@raine4207 ай бұрын
@@dallasyap3064 ‘throwing insults’? what insults? he said her mouth was indecent, which i’d agree, considering she’s not just expressing her opinion she’s continuously commenting and inserting herself in a situation that doesn’t involve her. his suggestion she go to her car is only fair if a breastfeeding mother is expected to go to her car to feed her baby. if she were to say she didn’t like it, sure, shared opinion; now stop. don’t keep hammering it.
@dallasyap30647 ай бұрын
@@raine420 Clearly u didn't watch the video then if u don't know what insults I'm talking about. What she said was nothing indecent. That dude with the cap said her mouth was indecent just bcoz her personal opinion is that she personally finds it not appropriate to breastfeed in public like that, not bcoz her mouth is actually indecent. By saying that, he's in a way implying that she's not allowed to have that opinion of hers otherwise it's considered indecent. Now him suggesting her to eat in her car, now that's at least an opinion to counter/challenge her view rather than an insult and telling her to STFU. And she wasn't constantly hammering the same words (like "maam can u pls not do this in an open area" over and over again), she was trying to make a point (like saying there's a child, recommend using the washroom, both in a respectful manner), until that guy started throwing insults. By the end, if breastfeeding mommy and that man's family decide if she's stepping out of line, then call the staff or the manager perhaps to get her to stop or she'll be removed. My problem is not the man voicing out, but rather him not allowing that woman to have an opinion (bcoz it's something he dislikes) and insulting her and yet later saying that everybody has a right to their opinion (in front of his child). Again, if they really don't take that woman well then call the manager to settle the issue (kick her out if necessary if her behavior is out of line, but in this case it wasn't, she was in a completely respectful manner).
@raine4207 ай бұрын
@@dallasyap3064yeah, i stand by my statement. the woman complaining can make herself known, “Ma’am there’s a child,” or “I’m uncomfortable with that.” but when she continues to breastfeed her baby you mind your own business because a woman feeding her child has nothing to do with you. and please explain how it’s respectful to suggest a woman feed her baby in the bathroom? it’s unsanitary, why don’t you eat in bathrooms?

U wanna complain about her being nosy, fine go ahead, but again u missed my point, which is the guy not allowing others to have an opinion, those who do have another opinion mustn't speak up (that's what he's implying). When I was a baby my mum was breastfeeding me in her car and two guys started to look in, pointing and laughing at her. My dad chased them off with a baseball bat (allegedly, maybe he was just saying that to sound tough lol) Great video and welcome back WWYD!

I so miss this TV show…thanks for coming back and sharing positivity. For an Asian like me who is most of the time being bullied by my accent, the color of my skin and a lot more, I am earning courage to face the world because I know there are still good samaritans out there ready to step up and stand up for someone else. Let us all spread Love and Positivity in the world. ❤

People speak more harshly to the woman criticizing the breast feeding because we all expect women to understand and support eachother, so it hurts even more coming from another woman.
@monkeysingh69398 ай бұрын
People just do not want to acknowledge the immense amount of hypocrisy they exhibit. On one hand they're ok with people wearing transparent clothes. Just a few inches of a teeny tiny bikini makes all the difference between how much they respect a person. So for them its that tiny piece of clothing that's more valuable than the person himself/herself.

A lot of comments in the comment section not liking that it's not John, leading the show and some also moaning over the woman breastfeeding, saying it's wrong... grow up! babies need to eat too for god sake. YOU have serious problems if you can't stand seeing it. nobody forced you to watch this content
@Electrostatic_Fusion6 ай бұрын
Yeah exactly. People eat all the time so whys it different when a baby eats?

And it's perfectly legal. Prudish people will always try to force their views on others while crying victim when someone does the same to them.

I saw a post on twitter saying that women who breastfeed should be charged with pedophillia or something, or that breastfeeding is child molestation 🤦🏻♀🤦🏻♀ then someone replied: "Wait until he finds out where a baby comes out of"

This episode was far better than last one's. I really don't understand why anyone would have an issue with a mother breastfeeding. It's a natural part of life ❤

As a Christian I don't feel it's wrong breastfeeding in public. I'm not a weirdo who feels "uncomfortable" ....u know them by their fruits. When people are battling lust and temptation, they don't have the holy spirit dwelling in them. U know u have the holy spirit when u have self control.
