Mike i love to see all those combines bringing in the winter wheat crop. I love those big op 13:59 en fields that they are working in . Looks like those fields have some weeds to as well. But it looks like combines are doing a good job of cleaning the weeds out of the grain . As always mike another great video . Thanks for all the work you put into your videos GOD BLESS AND THANK YOU

That harvest crew is really moving along in wide open fields😄👍 it is the first time I realized that you switch between a green and a red tractor in your logo😉👍 I wonder what happened to the versatile 450 too, it's unusual that a modern tractor is sitting next to a field road for years. Thank you for the video Mike👍👍

You hit the nail on the head Mike, in 2023 we had a drought March, April, May which meant very little moisture when the wheat is putting on growth and filling out heads and then in June when it was time to cut wheat we started getting some rains. A really messed up situation, usually if we have a drought its during summer (July, August). Ugly wheat with all those weeds. Thanks for the video !

Those guys can sure cover the ground, out in the big open areas it makes it nice that they can go down the road without taking the head off, great video Mike 👍

Awesome drone footage with the entire fleet of 9 8250's cutting in the same field. A shame the yield wasn't like we have here in Ohio, but dryland farming is part of the game in their area.

Looks like those augar carts carry a water tank. Fire control, I’m assuming? I always carried a 2 1/2 gallon pump up hand sprayer with me in the cab of my combine. And used it several times.

I know it’s been a few months since you posted this video, but I live in tribune Kansas and worked on farm there for a while, that tractor belongs to a family there in tribune and they’ve done that with more than one tractor 😂

Do they only use the cross augers on the headers for certain crops or is it dependent on yield? Amazing video and great team knocking that out quick!

I'd like to see Paplow running a fleet of combines with 62 foot GTS Brazilian heads or 60 foot Honeybees.

They’d work good here but probably not in a lot of the other states they harvest in
@John-nc4bl11 ай бұрын
True. More horses as well as more separator capacity reqd. should get the jobs done in heavier crops. That New Holland CR 11 maybe the answer.@@farmhandmike

I think they were the first company to put a draper head on a combine. They seem to support the custom harvest crews good and just an all around quality product is my guess.

Hey Mike got a question. There is a versatile RT490 combine on a local dealers lot. It has low hours and they are not asking much for it. Are these good machines or is there a good reason why they are asking so little for a low hour machine? 330 hours and asking $60,000

I'm not really sure as they start wheat in Texas and cut all the way up to Montana and North Dakota. After wheat they do fall crops in various places.

This is out on the high plains (prairie) Trees never really existed in these parts. This was all grasslands before the settlers showed up.

So as in the Bible, Book of Revelation : For in the day of our LORD Jesus' return the weeds will be seperated from the wheat and the weeds will be thrown into the FIRE and the Wheat brought into the barn. Pray that you be found WORTHY in the sight of our LORD JESUS on that day.

Why not cut around the corners instead of having to stop and reposition again. Then a couple of passes to clip off the missed stuff.
