I actually came across Wheel before finding Tool... it was on a festival. I hadn't planned to see them, just stumbled into their concert and couldn't leave... then I found Tool and thought "that's like Wheel but more organic". Riverside are a similar type of progressive. but more dreamy than both Wheel and Tool. on the continent of metal.. in the country of progressive metal.. there are a lot of lovely regions that all sound brilliant.

For me Wheel is the biggest discovery of last year. Fantastic debut album and do not forget to check the two EP's. About their live performance: the show in Hengelo (The Netherlands) last december was one of the best live shows I have seen in a long time. They totally nailed it and with the new bass player and guitarist there seems to be much more energy on stage. Can't wait for the next album and tour.
