These videos are so informative. Tim , I'm convinced your the man. You do these videos showing your craftmanship, yet not devulging all your little secrets, yet showing the world just how it's done. As if to say here it is, now try to beat me with it. You can't because it's not what you got, it's what and how you did it! I sure miss you out competing on the track. Happy and safe holidays to you and yours. Keep up the great work.

Tim, when talking about "short wheelbase" drag cars, the term "squirrelly" applies and it's OK to use! Long ago, in my mis spent youth I was given an "opportunity" to drive an open bodied gasser, 99" WB, 327, .40 over, fuel injected car- it was absolutely the wildest car I had ever driven. I was so busy, I couldn't get within 2 secs of the cars proven potential. Yes sir, Squirrelly is he correct term!

Your knowledge amazes me continuously from video to video. I’m planning to build a car next year so I’m saving every video so I can watch them as I’m building my car.

I remember two things from the magazine Super Stock & Drag Illustrated.... they ran a photo with the caption, "Somebody was bound to do it." 'It' was a pro stock Chevette. Just shape your head.... and then Bob Glidden ran that EXP. Bill Jenkins was quoted saying, "I don't understand how he gets the thing down the track without getting asphalt on the roof."

tim nice blower ,Tim r burnout lenghts dependent on how cold trck is newness of tires? also seems like RVW cars as of late seem too b lining there pass up out of the groove does that mean track r to sticky or ive had enough drinks fer that day and i need too clean my glasss? thanks man love ur show

I wish I could have a Tim mcamis badass built chassis with basically no chassis rule restrictions, I'd like to run some semi big tire stuff like 33.5x16's,315 and 275 radial and of course my bread and butter 28/29×10.5w and none w with the baddest 481x proline builds (I would never run a hemi I would go big block Chevy before that with a huge single 140+mm from Hardts,Wimer or precision if they ever released that 143mm they had at pri a few years ago (Outlaw Baby) for basically grudge racing or any n/t class to kill! LoL I also forgot to mention I don't want a body on it. The car would not get a body just a windshield and a wing basically Leroy the savage on 100 types of steriods and 3 clones of rocky balboa training Leroy like he did for the giant russian that killed Apollo and would never ever come close LOL When I hit the lottery I'll be hollering at ya! LoL

Most builders will only discuss this with you when you are paying

Well there’s a lot of guys just curious about stuff that will come in the shop and you give them hours of your time while your busy as hell. tell them a ton of info and never see them again because either they don’t even have a car or the money to build one and you just wasted a whole afternoon teaching someone how to set up there turbo application or chassis set up. It gets pretty annoying. But Tim is a beast. I wish I worked for him.

Just learn to drive and shorten the wheel base as much as possible problem solved.
