Guys I’m so sorry about the jumpy edits! I’m working on a really old MacBook Air and it wouldn’t play the video back so I couldn’t tell there were those weird jumps! Will do better next time!
This video is all about my wheelchair, ironic therefore that I got the name of it totally wrong!!! I call it an Ottobock Veloce but it is actually a Ventus...sorry! Here's the link to it:

I also use a wheelchair bag that is secured underneath the cushion with velcro but I forgot to mention that. I wouldn't buy this version again as it sags down and is quite hard to unzip with my legs in the way.

Thankyou so so much for your channel I’ve just found you👏🏼. I’m trying to come to terms with my mobility declining so that I’ve been shut in at home. What you said about not being embarrassed and Ill enough to need a wheelchair . I’ve started to use my 81 yr old mothers chair ( she’s passed away 😢). The advice on having the right one has made me think I need to get one more suited to my frame . My mother was a larger lady . I've found that if there's only one step/just a curb, I can go down backwards (always look before I go to make sure nothing's going to hit me) just fine while leaning far forward - I forget were I first saw that one, but it works great for me because I can't move forward in a wheelie in the chair I have at the moment (I'm currently in the process of getting a custom, and I'm looking forward to being able to hop curbs, since where I live has very few curb cuts and many blocks where the sidewalk just abruptly ends, and although I can go down them just fine, I need to be able to get up them as well).

I wish your video existed 4 years ago, I put off getting a wheelchair until I was literally housebound, we all deserve to be able to move and access life, so thank you ❤️ also where did you get the pink wheel push rim covers? My metal rims are scratched from being pushed too close to a wall 😂

It took me years to get to where I am! My next video is about coming to terms with the need for mobility aids!Sorry I can't remember the exact supplier but I got them off Amazon, search push rims and there will be a few there.

Let me recommend not getting dark coloured paint on a wheelchair. The scratches show really badly.

Great tip! My wheelchair was bought off eBay so the colour came with the chair but I’d definitely second Kylie’s tip here 👍 😊
