The FIRM: Starke Florida's hidden gem! (LOTW #23)

In an attempt to escape a particularly moist Tennessee winter, I jumped in the NSX and headed south to the Florida International Rally and Motorsports park, otherwise known as The FIRM to spend a couple of days in the sun with Just Track It driving my 23rd race track.

Hey! I remember seeing your car Sunday, but I ended up leaving early to make the 8 hours back to Knoxville a little easier so didn't get to talk to as many folks that day. To your question, yeah, we used the lunch hour to do that filming. Everything was slow-speed so not much concern without safety crews. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the sub! Barring the Zombie apocalypse I should be down that way (ish) again at Roebling in a couple of weekends!

RaceChrono Pro (Android) right now. The speedo would be more accurate with an external GPS, but the lap timer is very good at interpolation. I ran a previous version along with a transponder back when I was doing TT and the phone was never a tenth off. I have done a video comparing a few phone apps: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZaknZKae66gp9E

@@LapoftheWorld If you don't mind another question... What mount do you use to hold your phone?

@@patrick40777 I just switched to a Ram Mounts X Grip. They're a little pricey, but It holds the phone very steady/firmly even with the kind of G load and vibration you see on track. It is a little harder to take the phone in/out of it vs. some more "commuter friendly" mounts, just for full disclosure.
