going flat out in a lada with offset wheels has me nervous. would be worth installing a full cage, racing buckets, and full harness for these kinds of stunts. that way if you wreck, you'll mostly be okay. well aside from the disorientation from sudden high g force shock felt by the brain.

Really fun. I like these engineering exercises and these people are having a ball. This is true "test to failure" of a product (automobile). And a cool-blast joyride! Good example of a worst case scenario of having/needing to operate a vehicle with hugely bent, "out of round" wheels. Maybe a "no help" situation? Below zero fahrenheit and you just ran off the road breaking the car but it runs and you have to get to town or freeze to death...? I love this stuff and thanks for sharing. If you see the part with the big offset you would suggest a Lada is more like a Tank than a Car. Simple engineering is still the best. thats what we love about the russians :)

I would love to see you guys take a 50cc 1 cyinder engined moped and build a tiny V-twin 50cc dual cylinder engine and compare the power output as to see if there is any big benefit to having 2 cylinders as opposed to 1 cylinder on such a tiny engine, making each of the V-twins cylinder 25cc a pieace to equal 50cc's, as I am curious and think a tiny Harley Davidson style V-twin engine would be awesome to see
