Great review, i have been waiting for a decent review for a while now once i knew the SQ2 was on its way. I've been lucky enough to test drive one just last week and its pretty much everything you say. For me its basically a raised S3, in fact it doesn't really feel like an SUV which is great. I'm looking to go from a 2 car household to one and this fits us perfectly, i have mint MK6 Golf R that i've had from new and the wifes got a 2017 Polo GTI manual so its almost like the SQ2 is a perfect blend of both. I really want one :D

Thanks, Frazza, and let us know if you end up buying an SQ2. I certainly don't think you'll be disappointed moving across from a Golf R 6.

@@jezspinks426 Ordered my SQ2 on friday, delivery is December/January and i was lucky to get an open build slot as many won't arrive until March next year. We got Mythos Black with the Black styling pack, Pano roof and the Red interior leather. Now we wait :D

i would buy this over q3/rsq3 simply because that dashboard and MMI wheel...

Own a currant one TDI love it,the SQ2 doesn’t get adaptive suspension,head up display not worth buying for the money I would be buying SQ3……..🤯

Its not a bug, its a feature! Replacement or upgrade of the suspension is way more expensive with that komplete usesless adaptive dampers than with the regulare ones from the SQ2. Headup display who needs it? Sadly, the facelift of the Q2 is no longer available with analoge clocks. People who want this powertrain in a compact vehicle will choose the SQ2 over any of the group's other versions. An SQ3 (does it even exist) would not be an option, especially not in terms of price.
