⏬⏬⏬ Some people ask "how many additional modules should I choose for my next lightbar and where should I place them?" We can't make that decision for you but we can suggest you this comparison which shows how a warning/ emergency lightbar would look in different configurations.
This video shows our Whelen Legacy WeCan bar with different layouts and different amounts of additional LED modules. We also changed patterns and synchronization for some variety.
Whelen lightbars are fully customizable. This means that for example you can choose the number of additional LED modules as well as their location within the bar. You can also add color filters in front of the LED modules or a colored dome for the entire lightbar.
The addition "WeCan" simply means that the lightbar is programmable with the Whelen command software. This allows you to easily set and control tons of different options.
Our Ford Ranger has a Whelen Legacy DUO lightbar on the roof. It is blue-white to the front but for this video we just programmed a couple of blue flash patterns and turned off all the other lights on the entire vehicle. Note that we also have 2 takedowns in the front that of the Legacy.
Some of our other videos show a few different options and ideas that we've programmed.
0:00 base configuration
0:13 two additional short modules in the center
0:25 two additional modules, one being located next to each corner module
0:35 two additional modules with some space between all of the modules
0:46 two additional modules as well as 2 additional short modules in the center and some space between all modules
1:00 four additional modules, two on each side
1:13 four additional modules as well as 2 additional short modules in the center with only the takedowns between them. (Of course you can replace the takedowns with regular LED modules).
1:25 same config as the previous but with a classic alternating left-right pattern
