Mariusz Pudzianowski, also known as "Dominator," is a former Polish strongman and current mixed martial artist who has made a name for himself with his incredible strength and impressive performances in the ring. During his strongman career, he won five World's Strongest Man titles, the most in history, and won Europe's Strongest Man a record six times. In 2009, he decided to take on a new challenge and stepped into the world of mixed martial arts. With his enormous physique and raw power, many wondered how the strongman would fare in the cage against highly skilled opponents. In this video, we will take a closer look at Pudzianowski's MMA career, including his most impressive fights.

I’m really happy for Mariusz, hes a great guy, and quite a rare and exceptional sportsman. He is not the worlds best fighter by any means and he still makes many amateur mistakes. But his strong mind, and determination to succeed has turned the old stereotype of musclemen being useless fighter’s completely on its head. Even his stamina, patience and ringcraft has improved beyond recognition. I wish him greater success and hopefully soon a comfortable retirement fight package 🙏🏽

he's incredibly skilled in MMA for a strongman, his boxing is - although a bit wild - pretty effective. He has solid leg kicks and nice defensive reactions aswell. Then, it really was the most mezmerizing thing to me, he has very solid takedowns. Both in effectivness aswell as technic. I didnt expect him to shoot for a perfect single- leg! thats for sure. Further his ground and pound is decent aswell. But what really shocked me the most, was his fight IQ. What how, when bob sapp stood on one leg to defend the incomming barage of shots, he instantly ducked under, grabbed legs and tookhim down. This read of the situation was probably faster than of compairable UFC fighters! Awesome!

That was the goal of his fighting, bring somebody down and just hammer them. It sounds easy to do but he really did train hard to achive those techniques. We still can see that his body can't hold the 3rd round, whatever repplay was here it basically looked like a punch without any soul put into it but of course it was just exhaustion. Also before he was a strongman he used to street fight a lot as he was a body guard in some clubs he lived in, I'd guess that's where the wildness comes from

Nevertheless, he deserves admiration because at the age of 46, he achieved everything and this guy is still fighting and now he is fighting with much better opponents than himself. Pudzian mentioned in interview that he is not such a great MMA fighter, lifting heavy all his life made his muscles not good for punching. He had interview about how it started and someone offered him a lot of money to start in the event. He joked saying if you pay me 3 times that money I will (he was sure they will say no as it was enormous amount back in the time), and they rang him back later and agreed :D
