This is a C2 Corvette with C3 body panels slapped on it, Mike Finnegan of Finnegan's Garage and Roadkill just got done un-modifying one of these about 3 or so months ago. Question is, was this a C3 that they stuck a C2 cabin on, or was this a C2 that they put C3 body panels on. I'm thinking the latter and they used Irene Rauch's car as the donor for the C3 parts, and that's how they got the bespoke plaque. As for Irene Rauch, she's an actress that did a couple of movies and had a couple of small roles in 2 French TV series' back in '89-'90 and a short in 2003. Found that in about 2 sec on IMDB, not exactly what I would call a "Famous Actress"

Tough with fire suit ,shoes ,gloves, helmet. So --- good luck buying clone cars !

I've seen and heard plenty of fake stories around classic cars,including one where a guy bought a Studebaker Daytona chassis, a grill and piece of a body for a early Excalibur. He got one of his employees to build it into a car ,with most of it being handbuilt , but when finished it looked just like an Early Excalibur as designed by Brooke Stevens. He even cranked up a tale that it had belonged to Phyliss Diller. 😁😁
@largol33t12 жыл бұрын
Wow, a real Excalibur would sell for probably over $70-80k. They are some of the most insanely long cars I've ever seen but they have a charm and grace that no car today can produce. It just makes me want to drive it for hours at 100 mph. And that badass hood ornament, what other car company can say their logo is a SWORD?? Even their cars from the late 1970s had medium block V8s pumping out 300 hp. That was a lot for the 1970s. The remodeled Corvette that came out in the 1980s only had about 245 hp so Excalibur was a bit ahead of their time even though their cars looked Old World but still graceful and classy.
