as a hunter main, i completely get this guy. ranked is sometimes so frustrating especially against harassers. i like to play unique hunters instead of highest picks and it hurts a lot when you get called out for having skill issue. i usually just ignore post match because people only comment when i lose, but i was on tiktok once because i lost to a norton and that video got 7k likes. so yeah, this guy’s valid

This is why you should never overcommit to chasing a target that knows how to counter you as hunter. Sometimes, it’s better to just hunt for a weaker target than get memed on by a Prospector or similarly annoying character.

I don’t condone what he is doing obviously but I can almost get it, I’m peak tier (dragon/hydra) and it is so exhausting playing a non-meta character (I main FG so it’s kinda awful) and going against survivors is draining when they’re good but that’s with toxic survivors, if they’re good then everyone has a good laugh and onto the next match, that’s how I made some friends, they beat me and I beat them, but again that’s with emoters or just crappy people.

I get it that hunter ranking is stressing but sometimes you just gotta log off and breathe a bit... You did a great kite! In a good area to hold Nightmare, he should've changed targets (also bringing only detention and no insolence is a pain) Reminds me of a hunter rank (i was still in Cobra), had +300ms in that match against two harassers and they kept making fun of me on the post match. I just said i had a bad ping and left, not worth having heated discussions, it's just a game, you don't see people in tournament getting heated after they lose

I understand both sides here tbh, not defending his toxicity or anything but playing hunter can be really mentally draining especially since you’re doing everything yourself, and if you’re already playing a weak hunter against meta characters with good support it’s just like 🥲. And before you’re like “well don’t play hunter 🤓”, if that was the case then we would have no Hunter mains in this game. Just saying to have sympathy for these hunters because they’re technically the backbone of this game and although what he said/did wasn’t right, calling him a sore loser, weak, etc. is just not fair considering survivors can get away with much more than a Hunter can in this game. Can’t sit playing the easier faction and then call them dumb for being frustrated. On another note though why is he maining nightmare in 2024 😭 Also although the “it’s just a game” thing is true, if you’re putting in time to rank up and get better at this then you’re naturally going to get frustrated or something depending on your performance. Example, if you do a freaking five cipher kite as a survivor, you’re sweating your butt off to do so, and then boom one teammate just ruins it all and causes the team to lose; you may not be screaming in post match like the nightmare but you’d definitely be like “what the hell 😑😐”. So. 😅

But the whole thing is on the last sentence you wrote, you will be mad but screaming at the others will do nothing. I get the frustration, the urge to show people how mad you are at something I've had people saying i ruined their whole matches because i failed a rescue and just like calling this hunter a sore loser is bad, raging on the post match is just as bad. I got so nervous from ranking again for a good while after an Entomologist and Geisha said i played like shit when i just got out of worker bee rank 💀 I agree with you, without hunter players there's no game, but if they're rage baiting like that when the survivors were just being positive and wishing everyone a good game, people will clown them for the behavior they brought upon themselves

I actually feel for the Hunter the most, it's a very sad and difficult role to play. You're alone in it. No one is there to help you. And unless you play the S tier hunters it's hard to even tie let alone win. He should've just left and not raged. I end up hating survivors, even when I win bc they're so toxic and have so many abilities in their favor. But I've been on vacation so I'm stress free 💕
