My best friend purposely aimed for me when throwing the bouquet lol ... I've never really tried to catch a bouquet at a wedding, but my best friend really wanted me to catch it, so I did. And then it was ripped out of my hands by her brother-in-law's new girlfriend that none of us knew. It was such an awkward moment, but I immediately let it go rather than cause a scene because the girl clearly had a few screws loose. My best friend was so pissed. This girl went on bragging the whole night about how she'd be the next to get married 😂 the girl and my bff's brother-in-law broke up like 2 weeks later

For the mother-in-law Karen, if you want more of the story, the MIL apparently always hated the bride. She felt she was taking her son away from her. What apparently set her off at the ceremony was the brides vows saying she will love her husband flaws and all to which the mom said, my son has no flaws...and things kicked off. The dress comment was not true, the MIL paid for alterations on the dress, not the dress itself (which I mean if you hate someone, why even do that?!?). Eventually they got the MIL out of the ceremony but she just waited outside to then start back up again even trying to mess up their photos as a couple. There was a social media post in 2021 showing they were still married with a child.

I must be an awful person bc I kind of saw those moments as comical and somewhat endearing (of course in a darker way). Imo, the couples will always look back and laugh-- they weren't fist fighting or anything, just refusing to let go.... Both sets must want to get married desperately & I think that's cute! The substance tossed on the bride & groom was horrible. Most tuxs are rented & gowns run into thousands and cost a fortune to professionally clean for storage but the bride spent alot on hair & makeup so photos can't be taken. I'd be sending the guy the bills. Plus the venues don't allow many things due to the clean up, & environmental reasons.

The bouquet toss one would ended with me taking the flowers back and giving them to someone else myself. The mil ruining ceremony would've had me fighting. 6:50-7:17 That whole fighting over the wedding bouquet happened to me at my brother’s wedding. My sister in law had instructed me to position myself at the front center because she wanted FOR ME to catch the bouquet. When my sister in law threw the bouquet I caught it, but so did a Karen who already happened to be engaged, she wasn’t even close friends with my brother nor his bride, she was an acquaintance at most, and she was screaming excitedly and looking at the bride, my sister in law, with a big smile that said “oh look friend! I CAUGHT IT.” But I refused to let go of the bouquet and so did she, until my sister and cousin approached and told her to let go, she refused at first even though my cousin told her that I was one of the bridesmaids and the groom’s sister. Karen eventually realized that she was causing a scene, so after she destroyed the bouquet by ripping out the flowers, she finally let it go for me to have. What a b**ch!

I was a guest at a co-worker's wedding. I despise the whole bouquet toss thing! I'm not a booby prize hoping to trap a man! It was a wedding with only about 50 people, the bride tossed the bouquet & if I hadn't held up my hand & caught it, it would have hit me! I never even had the chance to deflect it, let alone grab it when a women snatched it & drove one of of her fingernail's up my thumbnail. It hurt so bad I wanted to swing at her! Ha! After she mangled my bleeding thumb, a little girl snatched it & ran off😂! I went to the ladies room to wash my bleeding thumb & my friend, the bride told me she was a groom's relative who had been trying to ditch her!
