I use my electric violin with just earphones for execises not bothering anybody with my bad intonation and give myself relief of my embarassment which makes me more courageous to try new things or exercise in the night.

I salute you Mr. Humphries for being willing to step out of the box and try something new and different. These purist snobs really piss me off. This idea that anything new or different MUST be BAD has got to change. Love the instrument by the way. Especially adding the fifth string. I'm a bass player that plays a five string as well and I love the extra range. Thanks for the vids

@@CelloCoach You can Identify the Helicore NS Cello Strings by their silking at the Ball end which is Blue with a Gold spiral.

@@CelloCoach NS makes fretted Cellos as well as Wood Violins. I wish they made Fractional Sized 5 String Acoustic-Electric Cellos with a High E because kids can play the Bach 6th Suite more easily, & they can also play Violin pieces down an Octave. A 5 String Double Bass tuned in Fifths (C, G, D, A, E) with Pirastro Obligato 5ths Tuning Strings could be your 2nd instrument since it plays & feels pretty much the same way as a 5 String Cello with a High E but its tuned an Octave down.

I have a quick question-is the impulse response added on-board the NS Design Cello body or does it come from an external pedal? Richlight or ebanol The amplifier will make or break the sound of this. If this is made by Ned steinberger ( NS instruments? ) id like to check out their bass instruments.

@@CelloCoach as do we all. some of us know how to present them more respectfully than others I suppose. just imagining someone from NS designs who worked on these cello models seeing this video and watching this clearly talented professional mock their work. I doubt he would say the same things to the face of the people behind these products which, in my opinion, shows how distasteful he was. but hey y'all seem friends so I get how you wouldn't see it.
