That John Scott all star game was the greatest all star game the NHL ever put on. The players and viewers both had shit eating grins on their faces throughout it. You had to feel good for the guy. It was great to see the league look stupid after that. I loved it. That was the last all star game that I watched, and it will likely stay that way.

John Scott turned out into the biggest feel good story I can remember from NHL and he's forever the beloved all-star captain. His stories about career of enforcer just won me over totally.

I still think it's wild that Kessel only got suspended for pre-season for a couple of the most egregious slashes with the twig, & when the player on the recieving end was tied up with two other guys & his legs were targeted to take him off balance. Especially considering he was in all likelihood not playing many more pre-seson games.
