Bruce drawing his only carrot is so tragic. It's the kinda thing you blame on master dual system trying to cheat you out your promo game.

To be honest, as a player when that happens, you can minimize the risk of this happening by drawing later in your turn (He can't use starter early because he needs to summon with Rex). It's why I criticized the use Runick Spells very early in the turn, it's your safest point of interaction, it's better to hold them!
