Would've much preferred to see Jamie win this one. Ronnie's the best who's ever played of course, but true professionals respect their opponents and do not play escapes like the one at 0:57. Masterful editing as always, which is why this is the only snooker channel of this sort that I watch.

I think it was a fair description, he did play very tightly for a great part of the match. Ronnie also missed a couple of "easy" balls. And did you watch Brecel, the world champion, sometimes go at the balls as if he was tired of being there? Or if he was playing at the neighbourhood pool tournament?

O'Neill played quite well but the reason the match was close was that O'Sullivan uncharacteristically missed a couple of easy shot. O'Neill demonstrated great skill and determination but alas he was defeated in the end by the best snooker player of all time (arguably). O'Sullivan demonstrated some lack of character when he kicked the rest and took some angry looking shots...but geniuses are known to be temperamental bastards after all.
