That's a great idea. And it's a cheap way to construct an alarm system in forests. Actually we can use use it via apps and develope public opinion to save trees.

Great work, in an environment with high sun light it could be imagined dedicated GSM devices could be dropped from planes to cover thousands of square miles with comms links which pass audio data. the problem with cell phones is they are all different. you have proved a route to saving what some people dont know what they are destroying..

There is one problem. What if the loggers find the device before they do the logging? They would break it first. My solution is to put a censor in the device that can detect whether the device is still working or not. And if it detects that the device doesnt work anymore, than we can know where the loggers are.
