Several of my friends did away with separate sides for each spouse because they had one with a large family and one with a small or not supportive family and one did a walk around with all the chairs to the middle instead of a traditional (in the USA where I am) isle and it was beautiful! I highly recommend inviting everyone you want and just having everyone get together as long as both sides are full of loving respectful people 💕💕

No matter how big it is, it can be simple. And for money spent, yeah of course you’ll need more money if more people are there, but it can still be kept simple, you can have normal dishes people generally like, instead of ordering too many different food, from expensive restaurants. Simplicity is possible despite the quantity of people Also I was talking about how it should be done, not how it is done

In a traditional Kashmiri wedding, it's held at your home. Like my parents, uncles, aunts, and cousins all got married at home. And also, there's three different parts. The Naka which is the legal part of getting married, then the mandi which is preparing for the wedding (there's one for the bride and groom) and then the Barratt, which is the celebration.

I don’t think I’m brown, I’m morrocan so- anyways 2 years ago was my uncles wedding and it’s actually the wedding I remember the most since kids are not allowed to attend all wedding ceremonies (even when you’re already 14, 15 you’re still a kid around here) and I remember the guests were around 400 since there were 40 table and each table has like 10 people. Plus in the city where the wedding was hold, their culture and anything was a bit different from ours (i’m from rabat) so if you pass by a wedding you can join even if you don’t know anyone and they’ll actually treat you very well. And they even have to invite the whole neighborhood like imagine the number of heads in just one giant tent.
