Not all storyboards look like this. There was a scrapped storyboard page from Naruto shown in the manga on how Kishimoto originally planned on introducing Kakashi and it looked almost complete. It was sad to see so much effort put into one page scrapped.

Yeah that's the thing about storyboarding and stuff. The point isn't to look nice or anything but it's mainly too plan out your shots or in this case panelling, and once you know the layout of how you want your shots too turn out that's when you can go all crazy with the art.

Lmfao! This is so true! Whether it's an individual creator or a team. And good luck with the screentone if that's your department. Beats the old days when you had to do word bubbles by hand. Digital sped things up. But it's a double edge sword. Digital looks too clean. So I find traditional for the drawing and digital for all else works great.

I am drawing a webcomic on webtoon, and uhh... My artstyle is probably kinda shit and the fact alone that I takr pictures of the paper where I draw the stuff is probably what makes it sometimes low quality It's currently 156 chapters, the story got inconsistent at first (there's still inconsisitencies and such but not as much) cuz I lacked experience in story-telling, but I'm getting better and better at further developing my story. Buuuut since it's confusing, I may start a side-webtoon that's similar to One Piece's SBS to answer questions.

I like writing stories since high school and I meet this girl who likes drawing, we became friends we share our interests then our teachers decided that our project will be a comic used our imagination, I was the writer she was the illustrator hahaha I know how to draw but I wanted to write the story not illustrated it. We wrote the comics just outside a church we witness a couple getting married then I realized I like her, we got a perfect score on our comic illustrations is inspired by anime and manga but my story doesn't have a happy ending as I was about to confess my feelings she already found a lover.
