As always excellent content here's a little tip when i go out i carry a small heat gun to warm up the panels as the weather here in the UK ain't the best most of the time i think you'd call it chilly 🥶or its raining .

if you have issues lifting the vinyl from the backing then try flipping it over and pulling the backing paper away instead. This also prevents the vinyl from curling when using transfer paper instead of film. I also usually seperate it back at the office then re-lay the backing sheet on larger jobs so that I don't have the issue in the video.

Love your content, I have the same problems up here in chicago. If I don't install the product I tell the customer to install it with being 55 degrees or better. That probably the issue you had. AWESOME KEEP MAKING MORE VIDS!!!!

Hi I’ve learned a lot from your video I love the way you go through everything. I have a question with my plotter I have a 53” vector plotter and I can’t use it. I don’t know if I have the roller pressure too tight or too loose but it goes halfway through the job and shifts the entire vinyl sideways. I don’t know if this is something you can help me with. I’ve tried to call customer service and that’s a dead end.

Specialty vinyl last far less than the conventional one, whichever brand you use, metallic usually last for 2 years max while conventional vinyl can last up to 8+ years depending on brand, climate and exposure to elements.

The metallics have a shorter life and are more prone to uv damage . They also tear easy in my experience...though I haven't done a ton of the metallics....they wear your blade fairly quick also.
