Arab Dad has a great point. They could treat it like sales and give incentives for quality at quantity. Bet that would revolutionize the industry Edit: I think many people have misunderstood my comment. I'm saying I think there needs to be some sort of reward mechanism for increasing the quality of food produced. Basically, incentives for giving a sh1t about your job. It's not socialism--the government has nothing to do with this. It's saying "if you can figure out a way to make the burgers themselves better, without negatively impacting our ability to produce burgers as they are ordered, we'll increase your pay proportional to any proven increase of benefit to the company". This concept stems from the idea that while systems of industrial production have greatly increased mankind's ability to produce "stuff," I think there is sufficient evidence to support the claim that the quality of that "stuff" has gone down significantly. I believe this issue needs to be addressed, and I'm open to suggestions, but I liked Arab Dad's idea. That is all. Thank you for coming to my TEDx talk.

There's the flipside. The city is repaving the street, so no one comes by that day. Well I guess I'm not eating today. Extreme example, but the wage being consistent does have a bit of stability. As a mailman, Xmas is brutal and its not enough money, but in the summer it feels like stealing because there is so little mail, so I know firsthand.

@@mikekristin7201 I worked fast food, got into upper management and was making $27/hour 50 hours a week. I make a little less now, but the stress of fastfood was real. I swear 5 years of that cost me 20 years of my life 😂. Theres no number to make me go back

62k a year would give me a hell of a good quality of life and I always loved my colleagues working fast food. I'd take it for more than just my early 20's...

that's not what the meaning was here. Going down also means losing your life or an important part of your personal life. Dying or losing a job and fame.
