Arab Dad has a great point. They could treat it like sales and give incentives for quality at quantity. Bet that would revolutionize the industry Edit: I think many people have misunderstood my comment. I'm saying I think there needs to be some sort of reward mechanism for increasing the quality of food produced. Basically, incentives for giving a sh1t about your job. It's not socialism--the government has nothing to do with this. It's saying "if you can figure out a way to make the burgers themselves better, without negatively impacting our ability to produce burgers as they are ordered, we'll increase your pay proportional to any proven increase of benefit to the company". This concept stems from the idea that while systems of industrial production have greatly increased mankind's ability to produce "stuff," I think there is sufficient evidence to support the claim that the quality of that "stuff" has gone down significantly. I believe this issue needs to be addressed, and I'm open to suggestions, but I liked Arab Dad's idea. That is all. Thank you for coming to my TEDx talk.
