When Are These Shiny Pokemon Being Released?

I think I mention this in the video, but I'll write it here again just in case! It's very possible that, like many Legendaries from Generation 8, certain Legendaries in Scarlet and Violet won't see a shiny distribution for YEARS. This video is meant to showcase when the shiny Legendaries COULD be distributed, not when they WILL be distributed.

Since Shiny Zacian and Zamazenta were distributed at the end of 2021, two years after Sword and Shield came out, it will likely be the same for Miraidon and Koraidon which means that their shinies will be available at the end of this year. As for the shinies of the other legendaries, like the "Loyal" Three and the Treasures of Ruin, I have no idea if/when they will ever be available as a mystery gift code or Gamestop event or whatever. We got shiny Eternatus in 2022, but never got shiny Calyrex or shiny Cubfu.

If we're basing predictions off of SwSh shiny releases, I wouldn't bet on any of the DLC legendaries being distributed (especially as shinies). I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get any shiny legendary distributions for SV legendaries after the... choices... they made concerning certain shinies in the second part of the DLC :/

it's all up in the air for me personally, they released SOME shiny dlc sub-legends in swsh (galarian birds) but not the horses or urshifu, so im just being super optimistic with this video LMAO

Terapagos isn't this Gen's Eternatus. It's this Gen's Calyrex. The box legend of the second dlc. And since we still don't have Calyrex shiny, it could be years before getting it shiny.

I see what you mean, but I think it can go both ways! It's the box art legendary of the second part of the DLC like Calyrex, but can also be seen as the "trio master" of Koraidon and Miraidon, similar to Eternatus. I made this video basing Terapagos off of Eternatus since there's no other "3rd legendary", and if I had based it off of Calyrex, there would have been no way to predict when it would be released as a shiny. @@radiomochi Given Game Freak's track record, there's really no way to accurately predict any shiny releases. You can guesstimate, like you have in this video, and hopefully at least some of your predictions will come true, but I believe in terms of distribution, they will treat it more like Calyrex. They'll want to prioritise base game for the most part. Not letting it's shiny stellar form get left in the dust is a potential reason for them to release it sooner. But that didn't stop them with Urshifu's gmaxes or Calyrex's blue dynamax aura

I think Galapagos will be in December 2025 bc it's the hidden treasure and on Christmas you get presents some would treat as treasure and it's the month indigo disk released if not definitely november

i not 100% sure but i think that one of 3 unrealest shiny mythecal of gen 5 wild be realing somewhere this year because of pokémon go, unova tour in 12 month gonna a have one of those shiny mythecal as a paid very diffecul reserche task to get it and the reason why i think is a new shiny mythecal and not shiny Genesect because you can shiny hunt and cache him by raids instead of a one time special enconter like the author mythecal and for my gest for what mythecal, i think is meloeda.

that sounds quite likely!! pokemon do have a LOT of catching up to do with releasing shiny mythicals from gen 5-8

This is quite optimistic honestly. Personally, I believe new species from DLC will not have their shinies distributed in another 5 or 10 years. The Japanese gaming industry has a weird FOMO policy, if there's a major meta thing that is locked behind a paywall, you cannot distribute it for free anytime soon, or else people who accessed it via paywall will claim they only paid for FOMO and now they don't actually need to pay for it, they got scammed. There are lawsuits about it in Japan for similar cases. Basically, all the new DLC legends are locked behind a paywall. You shouldn't be able to access them for free anytime soon in this sense, which makes distributing their shiny even more incredibly not possible.
