Blew their goal difference which cost them the title. - Arsenal lost Nasri and Fabregas, were 15th by Christmas but ended up finishing 3rd after making up a 13 pt lead on Spurs. - Chelsea finished 6th but won the Champions League with Di Matteo as manager, which meant Spurs were ousted from CL place

This is one of the main reasons why I respect Arsene Wenger. After a very, very tough defeat; he still manages to remain calm and treat reporters (who are trying to bate him into saying something foolish) like human beings. A few matches later, Arsenal reached a lower point by losing to Blackburn and Spurs; leaving them at 17th and then 15th place in the table with almost 1/4 of the season played. Arsenal finished in 3rd place! Ahead of Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool... outstanding managerial job by Arsene... arguably his best with Arsenal following the departures of Nasri and Fabregas.
