Was it 'evident' that Romero hasn't fully recovered? There always remains an 'haut goût' when refereers terminate a bout too soon. At least he should have given Romero another chance to reach the end of the round in order to recover from the blow, even at the risk of a second knock down of Romero which might have happend...or not. But it seems that the 'market value' of Davis was considered to be higher than the one of Romero, so the referee acted in the intended way. Anyhow: the first few rounds evidenced Davis' difficulties to face up to the power of his adversary. Will there be a rematch? Hope to see a match Davis vs Subriel Matias, but as it looks, Davis is not eager to let it jhappen.
