When Buying a New Aventon Electric Bike, Don't Make this Critical Mistake

That’s exactly what I did. I purposely found a local bike shop that carries Aventon. I wanted the Level 2 because I wanted the fenders, back rack and suspension, but I wanted the swept back handlebars and adjustable stem of the Pace. I purchased my bike a month ago and after the adjustments done by the bike shop and my first two weeks of riding, I think it’s perfect!

I own a Level 1 Step Thru and love it. When I first got it with the stock stem and handlebars, I found the weight of my head put me in a very uncomfortable position. An adjustable stem and handlebars curved a bit more than the one in this video, was all it took. I like the stock seat with no plans to change it. I commute daily 10 miles daily and have 3600 trouble free miles. Transformed my life, mentally and physically! I have the M/L and am 6 ft 165 lbs. I often wonder if I would have as much fun if I had the Level 2 with the torque sensor. I’m inclined to say no. I always pedal and love having the throttle there to help me accelerate thru intersections. It’s like a launch gear! Can’t do that with the Level 2.

The Aventon bike looks a lot like the Gotrax Tundra bike I just got, anyone know if they have the same frame?

I am not familiar with it. Aventon does make a complete bike for a company called Serfas, not sure if they do others

In my experience, Aventons service record sucks. It took over two weeks get a warranty part!

We are having problems also, it is happening in a lot of industries right now. I have friends waiting months for parts to fix their cars. Aventon makes a great product, I hope they will get better soon on this issue
