As mentioned in the video, flying after nose job is not recommended at least 5 days after surgery.

As a flying crew member, we understand you are eager to get back to work after your rhinoplasty surgery. The timeline for returning to flight duties will depend on the specifics of your procedure and how quickly you heal. Most surgeons recommend taking 2-4 weeks off from any activity that could harm your nose while the initial swelling and bruising subsides. However, full healing of nasal bones and cartilage can take several months. During those first months back, even minor trauma from typical flying duties like wearing oxygen masks could impact your results. For that reason, we would advise waiting at least 6 weeks before returning to limited flight duties. Be sure to get clearance from your surgeon first as well. For full clearance to resume all regular flying duties without limitations, you should expect to wait 3 months post-op in most standard rhinoplasty cases. That allows everything to fully stabilize and ensure the best surgical outcome stands the test of time. Let us know if you have any other questions!
