I used to think like Brian all the time it’s almost scary. For those who want to die, those of you in a hard spot. I won’t lie to you, and tell you everything’s going to be okay, cause let’s be honest, we never know if things will be okay. You’re gonna go on a rollercoaster of events and emotions throughout your life. And that will continue to happen. But still, you’ve gone through so much, and you still haven’t killed yourself. I’m proud of you, so fucking proud that you’ve stuck with me so far. Life is gonna keep kicking you in the face, but you’re gonna be strong. You’ve lasted this long, and I know for a fucking fact you can keep going. You’re gonna struggle, you’re gonna cry. But you’re gonna be you most of all. And I’d rather be stuck on this forsaken rock with you than with nobody at all. It takes a strong person to tie a knot or hold a gun, but it takes an even stronger person to put it down. And you’re the strongest fucking people I’ve ever had the pleasure of having read my comment.

Me and my enlightend friend were talking about our exes and he told me he said this passage to a girl:Don't say those things about yourself, a poet could've described the angles of your nose as perfection, an artist could've found the color they've been searching for in your eyes, a writer could've used your voice to say the most beautiful words. It's hard to see your own beauty sometimes but you could be someone's inspiration and you wouldn't even know it. And you're my inspiration. Ever since then my lifestyle has strangely gotten better. After that we both started crying and I said I hated life, and he then goes: you won't see beauty through hateful eyes, and damn that's stuck with me forever. I'll never forget him. It really does hit, especially the scenes with Benson, When we were children we would find him the "annoying" type, to be consistently nagging and angry. But when you grow up, you realize that he is the most normal and "regular" character there is to the show. Infact he really do be chill like that when giving advice to Mordecai. 0:43 Okay, love is chemical reactions. So? In fact, this means love is so fucking real that we can literally see it on display inside of our brains. Not only love is a chemical reaction in your brain, your brain itself can't stop having chemical reactions, your body can't stop having chemical reactions, and so does everything that surrounds it, including the people you love and hate. We are part of an ongoing chain of coincidences, but you miss the part where that is beautiful. Remember, you, yes, _YOU_ are made up of stardust, prove it being bright.

The easiest way to feel like the smartest person in the room is to spew pessimism. That way, when good things come to an end you can say I told you so. If you expect nothing, you’ll never be disappointed. It takes real wisdom and strength to find ways to stay optimistic and motivated. Some people choose to fight to stay above the water, others choose to let themselves sink and sit at the bottom. The ones who stay at the bottom can justify it however they want, but they will never see the sun.

Here are some things I would like to correct: 1. Adventure Time: It is not the problems we need. It's the mindset that can help us find solutions to the problems. Even if one solution creates a new problem it will help us grow to become better. 2. Rick and Morty1: Love is NOT just a chemical reaction. Love no matter if it's romantic or general it shows that you are able to care. Not just for others but also for yourself. Rick just kinda gave up caring. It is his responsability. 3. Rick and Morty2: Happiness may not always last and could be difficult to maintain but it can always (re)created. It is a road, not a destination. And yes happiness can be a trap if it is abused. But if you give happiness great love and care and share it with right people, it can last for a long-long time. And yes, finding the right people is hard but that is why we need to improve ourselves first. It all depends on us. We need to be patient. 4. Family Guy 1-2: Those are more about the ways society has lied to us for years. To surpress feelings and when they burst out it will become anger, tears or even worse. If we let ourselves be controlled it won't solve anything. If we can't show our true colors to anyone it's just not worth it. And we will be trapped in a downward spiral. But here is the funny thing: That spiral is much smaller than it seems. We just let ourselves sink into it. It is our choice to finally stand up and step out of it. That's all folks! Have a happy life!❤❤❤

About fourth one,its hard to stand up especially when family is involved. I’ve seen people live their entire lives without speaking up about how messed they are from inside and I’m that kind of person too. When I try to speak my voice chokes up and my emotions come out through tears, so I stay silent. When I finally gather the courage to express my feelings it disrupts my mental peace and it takes time to recover. Everything piles up inside and I know if I didn't let this out it will come out in the worst way. All I’m saying is, it’s not easy to stand up and just step away.

I don't understand those people that hate happiness and love, "oh It's just a stupid chemical reaction", yeah dipshit, your sadness too, your hate too, why keep hating things that are good just because you think they are useless? Why live in despair and sadness, when you can make you and others around you happy, even for a little moment. We don't live forever, mate, but we can make our lifes a little bit better with a simple smile.

He's saying the love forty and both and Jerry had isn't the real love. Forty is lusit8ng for Jessica does he really love her though, Beth and Jerry have a failed marriage is that real love?. My counterargument to the Rick and Morty character saying how happiness always ends is the fact that it can always come back, which makes it worth fighting for. It's why so many people have spent their lives pursuing it, protecting it, looking for it and so on. Because we know, deep down, we *know* that happiness is temporary, but just because it's temporary doesn't mean it's never going to come back.

Another counterargument is that EVERYTHING ends, not just happiness. Rage, depression, envy, apathy, whatever; all emotions are ephemeral and come and go with the various events that occur in life, and even if you have a clinically diagnosed predisposition towards a certain feeling, happiness is a barrier that can protect you from yourself for at least a brief moment.
@sliceof_melon00
@sliceof_melon00 Ай бұрын
For anyone who thinks the meaning of life is to be happy or that happiness is a default feeling you are setting yourself up for failure and will forever see the world as unjust and cruel. Happiness isn't something you will ever feel constantly without interruption and nor should it be. The best you can have in life is to just be neutral or even just content. It doesn't sound as great as 'finding happiness' but it is the reality and it is better this way. Happiness is a feeling that when experienced allows us to express something genuine and deeply touching it is reserved for moments that warrant it and therefore is not cheapened. If we are always happy then happiness would have no meaning. Life isn't unjust just because you don't feel happy all the time and the reason accepting that is so difficult is because it's scary to know that you will not always be happy and not know for how long you will have to wait before feeling happy again. The trick to it however is to not wait, accept life for what it is and treat every emotion as something genuine that is unmistakable

Constant happiness sounds like a nightmare to me. I hate when I experience negative emotions but I would hate never experiencing them again. They’re important to help us sort through the issues we’re dealing with in our life, they can keep us alive, and they make the happiness we experience all the more rewarding. Balance with every emotion that’s part of the human experience is what’s overall important for long term health.

well, nihilism is a reoccuring theme in rick and morty, and it's not really meant to be glorified or adopted as your personal philosophy. rick's probably the most nihilistic person in the entire multiverse, and it usually makes him miserable. the people he cares about most always get hurt, and yet _not_ caring isn't the safe option either. every time he doesn't care, the people that care about _him_ most get hurt. his intelligence is his greatest strength and greatest weakness. he's accomplished so much with it, but he also thinks logic and science can never truly backfire on him or be taken from him, and it also offers an escape from the curse of being human.

Videos like these are just, nice to think about life on, at times. Sometimes i just make a comment on videos like these knowing nobody will probably care, but to anyone that reads this: If you're going through hard times, never stop going, never give up. There will be times where you get beaten down, there will be times when you just break down and cry. There will be times when you want to give up, but you have more people who would miss you then you realize. It could be a family member, a loved one, a close friend, maybe somebody you talk to every once in awhile. Hell, maybe its just a simple pet, like a cat, dog, or even a little goldfish. You just being here, will always give somebody joy, even if you never feel like such. There will be times when problems just keep coming, things pile up one after the other, but one thing to remember, is to me at least, good cannot exist without the bad. Sure, to some happiness may be fleeting, but so is sadness. You will never always feel happiness or joy, just like you will never always feel despair or sadness. After every hurricane is a rainbow, after every storm comes peace and quiet, there is always a light at the end of every tunnel. You can keep going if you've made it this far. You're never alone, we're all gladiators fighting our own battles every day, ones nobody else can see, and we will keep fighting. "If you're still alive, you aren't struggling with depression, depression is struggling with you."

It is so difficult to find closure within one's self. It's been almost 10 years since she died and I still think of her every day. I sit in a position I never thought I could reach but at the cost of standing on her grave. I want to find love again, after 9 years of processing the 2 I had with her. But I'm so terrified of hurting someone I love. Even someone I don't yet love is too valuable in my mind to be selfish and love them knowing it will end with one or both of us hurting. I shut out the parts of me that crave it. I hide from everyone and keep my pathetic self hidden from the thoughts of others to keep them from loving me. I'm still sick. But at least now I can't hurt anyone else.

something i realised by the end of my highschool time "theres a good reason why one or few close friends, are better than many normal ones. few close friends give a sense of family, while many normal ones make you realise just how replacable both you and they are, once you find more friends yet again" mostly hungout with people during lunch. my classmates rarely left the classroom for it, so i had another group who i was pretty close with (not close enough), and another when that group wasnt present. was friends with all of em, or well some more than others. when the main group got exams and eventually graduated, i was only told about farewells in a call, when they WERE leaving the country. a good friend from the other group was closer friends with someone else, who wasnt comfy joining them when i was around, so i was asked to not join them during lunch - only half the time she would be there, and i practically only hungout with em during lunch. had known someone from a 4th group, so i kinda joined them, but they were only girls so was on my final normal day told to please find someone else cuz girl talk feels off when a guy present. before that i was kinda friends with 2 others, so i hungout with them a little bit aswell. this made me realise how easily replacable i and they were, given the right circumstance, since we were mostly just regular friends, or simply knew each other

A lot of people took Rick‘s first quote as him being a miserable guy, but he was right. What people literally call love is that attraction, infatuation. He doesn’t acknowledge it, probably because he thinks the actual love is pointless because he makes it clear that he thinks falling in love will leave you miserable, but real love is the commitment part of it. It’s an action, not a feeling. However, people use the word ‘love’ as an expression to tell how they feel, and a lot of times, how they feel is the infatuation part.

She wouldn't talk to me after that, then the pandemic happened and it got me depressed even more. I moved on a year later when I went to college but the need for closure was still there. There was a new girl that I was ready to ask her out but I was too late since she was already seeing another guy. I told her the truth after that and she was fine with it and we continued being friends. In a way, I was healed and relieved that even though she knows I had feelings for her she's fine with it. Empathy is caring about it because you’ve seen it before, maybe you got consoled or not. Point is, what happened to them matters to you. You tell them they have a choice. Sympathy is telling them there’s a lamp over there. Empathy is going into the darkness, where they are.

Growing up and seeing how much childhood means a lot more than just the start of your life. It means how you don't have to struggle with what the real world is for 18 years before your shoved into it, expecting you to know how things go.

I've seen so many people try to prove the 'happiness is a trap' thing wrong. And yeah, some of them have their points, but in the end that guy is right. It's all gonna end eventually, and yeah. Best case scenario is that you two die at the same moment before your love fades.

The older I get the more I realize growing up hurts, that’s why grownups say enjoy your time now as a kid cause when you grow up… you don’t enjoy much anymore and what you do enjoy is short lived. Life feels short cause everyone lives for the good times we experience and those are short… while stress is almost constant

Relax yourself, guys. Take a breath, rejuvenate yourself. Go pet a dog, go eat your favorite food and maybe just go for a walk. Detox yourself, and stop worrying about what may come. Bad things will always happen, don't live your life in fear. Learn discipline, learn respect, respect others and respect yourself. Be happy, be free. Enjoy yourselr, we're all on a time limit.

3:01 this is how I felt this year, because it happened to me. People seem to think just losing a job is no big deal sometimes, but if you live paycheck to paycheck, and have to stay in your place because everywhere else is too expensive to move to, and anyone who can or will help you is hundreds of miles away, this is a VERY real feeling

Great video BESIDES the Rick and Morty line in the beginning. Love is VERY real. There is a huge difference between being incredibly attracted to somone and being in LOVE woth them. Love gives us something to persue, something to fight for, and something to defend. It's not a good message for people to think otherwise. Remember that.

Our entire conscious experience is the sum of chemical reactions. Love is very real to the angler fish too, but their experience of it is an all too real nightmare relative to our experience. Our lofty ideals of love are born of luck, that is important to remember when attempting to treat love as some kind of force or energy. Whether or not it is a good message has absolutely zero bearing on whether or not it is true.
