I was a part of a hip hop dance academy a few years back and I remember they made us free style and I was so nervous and somehow managed to dance my heart and soul out and when I opened my eyes at the end and looked at the floor, the "teachers" had thrown their shoes at me. I cannot tell you how validating that feels hahahahaah then they explained to me that it came from black culture and it was a form to show respect, pride and excitement.

Jennifer Hudson has displayed already on the voice, that she can actually COACH people, and is interested in helping people actually better.
