When I first got my license, I was driving and a THREE year old ran in front of my car from behind a very large garbage container. Thank God I was driving 10 miles an hour because I was a new driver. I stopped on a dime. I go up to the house and ring the bell for the mom and she does not care at ALL. The neighbors told me this kid runs across the street alone all the time. She's tells the girl to go inside. I doubt she stayed inside long.

That's Arkansas state troopers for you. IN the past couple years they have repeatedly pit maneuvered the Wrong car that was already pulling over when officer was coming up behind them at high rate of speed A pregnant woman who was pulling rightfully slowed down and activated her hazards but didn't immediately stop in the construction zone with no shoulder Pit maneuvered another person who slowed down activating their hazards waiting to pullover until they got to the nearby exit. In fact they flipped the vehicle at the exit she was pulling off on. All 3 of these the officers were found in the wrong but faced no punishment.

An irresponsible officer that doesn't know how to ride a patrol car in the snow damages a parked pickup truck with a child and her father inside, and HE'S THE ONE LEFT TO COVER THE DAMAGES???? NOT A SINGLE PENNY OUT OF THE OFFICERS WAGE OR RETIREMENT FUND???? HE DID THAT ALL BY HIMSELF. He should be forced to pay for both the damages on the civilian's car and the patrol car, full price, no discounts, out of his wage or retirement fund. The first police officer was placed on restricted administrative duty and the boy underwent surgery. This only happened a little over a month ago so the investigation is still underway with help from Highway patrol. That said why was no one watching their son?
