It's stupid but many DAs have let guys walk just because they claim the girl is an adult. Like one guy in CA had his whole house full of illegals and he didn't get any charges just because he claimed all the girls he slept with were adults and the DA refused to prosecute him. It's crazy but if the DA is on your side you are literally untouchable and can get away with any crime.

If a cop is ASKING to search your vehicle/belongings, and you say no, then they can't. It's a different story if they have reasonable suspicion (e.g. bullet holes in the car, certain smells, etc.) or if they have a warrant. They don't need permission in the latter two. If they can't gather anything on the person, and the person is declining a search, they can't really do much.

So using reasonable force to get you outside is for both yours and my safety. Now if you are unable to fully present yourself then all you need to do is tell me you can't present yourself as you are so you'll keep the front door open then change and return. Its possible the stop was illegal as he wasn't speeding, and thus everything they found was done so illegally. Its also possible someone else's finger prints were on the drugs, and that person had rented the car before his girlfriend did... He was smart, he shut up once he realized they were taking him anyway, and nothing he could have said would change it, then he got a lawyer. They didn't actually have a lawful reason to search the vehicle, which is why they got the drug dog out.. Those drug dogs are often right in the lab, but on the side of the road will hit for treats.. So they were going to search the car no matter what, and when they did they only confirmed in their minds what they already think is the case every time they stop someone on the side of the road, which is that they are guilty of a major crime..

No, I’ve noticed this too. It feels like these channels put cops on pedestals and ignore when they may have made errors in judgment or re-word things to make the officers look better or more competent. It’s not a game of cops and robbers, these are all just people, and all people are flawed and can make mistakes. Cops included and it’s only fair that they’re held to the same matter-of-fact treatment everyone else gets.

We can hate him for killing his wife while still acknowledging and even feeling for him for being in shock/depressed. His acts when he killed her and his behavior afterwards are different events. I could easily see the broken TV being him choosing to smash it instead of letting her sell it and all the papers and trash around the house could have either happened during the fight or after he shot her and was him flipping out about what he did. He sat in that house for those days knowing what was going to happen to him and just waited for it to happen and when the cops showed up just accepted his fate. The life insurance policy doesn't even come into play because he shot her, admitted to doing so right away and didn't try to hide that he did so.

My stepfather went through something similar as the last clip. He came to the states in the 80s and had a daughter, things turned south in the relationship and his daughters mom used his status to take his money, blackmail him, threaten him and didnt even let him see her. After almost two years without seeing her, she moved away with the child and told her her dad died when she was older. We found her (the daughter) on facebook around 2011, but it was too much for her, and she ended up not wanting to meet her dad. By the time he had gotten any papers and enough money to even think about a lawyer, she had been long gone, and so much time had passed. There was still nothing he could really do. Any attempts in court were denied based on his not being in her life for a period of years. Honestly good on this man for going through and calling 911.
