@@volrogue At first yes, but that would be the point. Use the daunting scale as an incentive to explore, so that the player finds more ways to Traverse the wreckage. As you go you find shortcuts, jump pads, grav-lifts, teleporters, and so on. If you think about it back in D1 you couldn't even use your sparrow on a new planet till you set up a beacon first.

Lots of Halo vibes from this mission: An enemy ship afloat in space with Flood like enemies rampant aboard, flood like infrastructure taking over “man” made, horror mission in the dark with little exploding enemies, the guardian is probably the most on the nose reference to that of Captain Keyes (rip) and then there’s the reward. A Rifle that apparently has a catalyst that helps with hip fire accuracy... just like a Battle Rifle or a DMR

Fun lore fact The fungus on the ship feeds of of dying. Not death, but dying. Every cabal on the ship and even the Guardian are permanently held at the moment they die, their mind forever trapped as their body slowly decays. They'll never lose consciousness but never be able to do anything again.

Took me two hours to run this solo. Also I remember finding the guardians ghost earlier in the mission (it was behind some boxes during one of the numbing puzzles) and thinking that it was strange that no one was talking about the dead ghost of the, presumed, alive guardian. I guess you have to go back and grab it in a second run but I’m too lazy to do that.

Solid mission. I went solo as it came out and I had no idea on what to do. Took me 2hrs to figure out both mechanics and route, and it was a wonderful experience. Boss is easy with Anarchy, you kite towards one of the platforms you can jump off from and you melt him down in 3 phases. Super for the last wave of adds when he’s 1/3 of HP, just for safety

good mission a lot of creatures to deal with, 4:44 (when he had the thought) one of the best parts of the video was when he saw 5:22 the wall started to close (apparently who did this part of the mission was a fan of Starwars and Indian Jones). great reaction and response to this part of the mission (not like this) reminded me of indiana jones the mission is easier in a group from what I see now. they didn't pass by the trapdoor that kills you when you step on it or they don't show this part in the video it’s a shame we didn’t save the guardian, there are people saying that there is a secret room under the dead guardian that will be opened in the future

My only suggestion / critique would be, if you're going to go with Scorn, they could have went with a resurrected Mindbender instead of a reskin of the Hangman. Imagine the Mindbender back and newly re-strengthen from the killed Guardian, giving him his new ascended realm through the powers of Sword Logic. Then the final boss battle could be on derelict ship, then on the ascended realm version of that ship with mine bended hive and his Scorn.

I was doing this solo and was in a discord call with some friends . The topic of scary stuff was going on and one of my friends (with a sexy Morgan freeman like voice may I add) was telling us about how he saw a wendigo in the woods. Right as he said (I heard sth creak on the branches ) there was immediate crawling noises to my left . I freaking loved this mission and just the sense of paranoia I got from my call amplified it .
