Bill died 20 years ago. Started supporting spurs in the early sixties when we were top dogs, one night in 1968 I went to a midweek game at Highbury Arsenal v Leeds and the crowd was under 5000 and at least two of them were Spurs fans. It’s easy supporting a club when you’re on top , but the sign of true support is what happens when success dries up. Even in the year of relegation our support never ever dropped so low.
