I was in an emotional abusive relationship for 7 yrs. At 27 he died from an overdose. A year later I somehow found myself in another one, at 35 he died from a heart attack. I’ve been completely single for 15 yrs now, happy and healthier then ever.

I was in fourth grade on my way home from school with three other girls. Two boys from sixth grade came biking towards us. One of them was known to always bully everyone he could, and the other one was his chosen sidekick of the day. They biked up on the sidewalk and the sidekick was on his way towards me since I was standing in front. He stood up on his pedals as he came closer. I don't know how he pictured it going in his mind, if he thought the bike would stop next to me or what, but he lifted his foot to kick me while his bike continued forward. Instead of kicking me in the side as attended, his foot got caught in my schoolbag hanging on my back. I felt a tug backwards as he went flying off his bike. I didn't fall with him. His foot freed it itself after that tug and he landed on the sidewalk while we stood there looking at him. He looked shocked and embarrassed at the same time, and we just burst out laughing. His bully friend shouted at him to hit me but sidekick was so embarrassed that he jumped up, grabbed his bike, and drove away as fast as he could. Bully saw he was suddenly alone without anyone to push around to do his dirty work so he jumped on his bike and took off too.

one of my programming professor failed me with F grade on the first semester just because he hated my face and he is the reason i drop out from college because you can't take another subject when the previous one is an F. one year later my upperclassman protested to his boss and he got fired. i found out that he did this to other students too not just me. well, my life is ruined anyways. fortunately i get a job in food and beverages industry because i trusted my hobby in culinary business that has nothing to do with computer or programming.

I would just like to say that the sentence "4 lane, 40 mph road" is wild to me. I thought he was talking about a HUGE highway for a moment. But nope... Closest we have is 60 kmh or 37.3 mph roads. And they're always single lane roads. Heck anything below 70 kmh/43.5 mph is single lane over here. And even for 70 kmh I haven't seen wider than 3 lanes, which only happens for large main roads going into/out of cities.

Where I live, if you’re not in a neighborhood, you’re unlikely to be on a road with 2 lanes or less. To be clear, that’s 1 going each direction on that road. 1 lane, 1 direction roads are much less common.

I didn't realize it at the time, but about an hour after it happened, it clicked and was hilarious. So in high school, went to private school because family wanted me to get priority education, etc etc. well there's this one kid in our grade who is what you'd expect everyone as in a private school. 100$ bill toilet paper rich. His dad owned some kind of oil business, hence the wealth. Well, this guy was quite literally the meanest person at the school because of this little detail and flaunted his wealth all. The. Time. Bullied people because he felt he could get away with it. The whole ten yards. Well one day in our first class in the morning, I had previously had a chair straight up break on me as I sat down. Upon further inspection, the chair had rusted completely through, so I laughed it off and went on my way. Well at a later date, a similar situation. I fall back and assume my chair broke on me again, but I see it's just moved back farther than I initially had it. Said kid from earlier happened to sit near me and did the old "pull the chair from under you" thing to pick on me. I didn't realize he had done that at first, so I just picked myself up and went about my day in that class. Well not 10 minutes later, I hear a knocking on the door I'm sitting next to. For context, our class had 2 doors. One in the front of the class and one in the back. I was near the back one. And this kid I think said he had to use the bathroom and was out of the room. I thought maybe the door got locked on their side, so I opened it to be polite. He was leaning on the door and proceeded to fall back right on his ass. Everyone else in the class proceeded to laugh even more at him falling cause I'm assuming they saw what he had done and witnessed karma take place. After I realized it about an hour later, I laughed about it with my friends during lunch.

This is gunna be a bit dark, but around 2018 i was with a few friends on vacation in Florida and we to a club that was somewhat close to where we were staying, we ubered there since we were gunna be drinking and already pregamed a bit before heading out, we get to the club and every so often I’d pass these two guys and a girl who were clearly wasted and acting obnoxious but pay them no mind, fast forward a couple of hours later we’re outside the club along the sidewalk waiting for our ride and i cross over a crosswalk to regroup with my friends when out of nowhere an orange Mustang swerves out of the club parking lot and onto the crosswalk nearly hitting me, driver rolls down the window and it’s the same two guys and girl from the club and they start cursing me out, we exchange words back and forth for about a minute before they peel off up the road, 15 minutes later our Uber arrives and we go up the same road the Mustang went till about 6 blocks up we see a corner of the road sectioned off by police and EMTS, and that same Mustang completely totaled, like crushed so far inward it was almost a cube, the driver and passengers were already taken out so i have no idea if they lived or not, but with how trashed that Mustang was if they aren’t dead then they definitely have some serious medical issues now, definitely made me a believer in Karma that day TLDR: don’t drink and drive

Was riding with my husband in his semi one winter day somewhere on a 2 lane road in Nebraska back in 1993. It had stopped snowing and the road wasn't plowed. We were going as fast as was safe, I'd say maybe 40mph or so. Some jerkoff in a station wagon, pulling a U-Haul trailer, was starting to tailgate us. He'd edge out and look to pass us, but over and over there would be traffic the opposite direction. He got madder and madder as we were blocking his royal way, obviously. Finally he had a chance and pulled out from behind us and started his pass run...remember this is in snow. As he got alongside the cab, he opened his driver window and flipped us off as he passed us. Well, he then started to fishtail, and spun out in the middle of the road, 2 seconds in front of us. We had no way to stop in time, but JUST as it looked inevitable, his tires caught and he was flung into the ditch. A second later we went through the space this idiot had just been occupying. I asked my husband if we should stop and offer help. "HECK NO", he retorted. "That dickweed would just tell the cops that we'd forced him into the ditch and they'd believe him!"

I was driving and had my phone on speaker between my seatbelt and my chest…. I know I know not very smart, anyway I pull into the left hand turn lane to turn into a strip mall. I reach and grab my phone and hang up as I am waiting for the green light. Right then this old guy while he is driving yells at me to GET OFF YOUR PHONE! I see him the slam into a guy at the red light and I yell back I would Pay Attention To The Road Next time as my light turned green.

Was driving home after work one night at 1 am when i pulled up to the stoplights on main street when the lights changed again there were 2 vehicles to my left. Well the first car decided to take off (he had the red light) well the vehicle behind him was a police suv which chased after him. Drove by them like 3-4 block’s away 😂 Edit: and before anyone asks I’m 99% sure he was drunk since ironically the direction he came from is where most of the bars on main street are at

It's not a phobia - it's animosity. People will never take you seriously if you're going to make up words that go against their base definitions. It's "homoanimous". "Dislike" or "disapproval" is NOT the same as "fear". Phobia literally translates to "fear". That's why people laugh at you when you tack the word "phobia" to any dislike. If you want to be heard, learn the words.
