"T-I-C-S theres no K, it's not the bug." Literally most relatable sentence ever. The amount of times I said "I have tics" and people went "eww the bug?"😭

Ya, I went to the grocery store recently. I didn't ever say that I have tics. I said "aMAZing" near a guy who worked there and he definitely heard me. There was also a little girl who was walking near me and I ticced "Oh hello there". Her mom gave her a talk about stranger danger after that.

I have tics (neuropsych testing next month) and I bring it up those times too. What I'm still learning to navigate is online dating. Do I disclose this before we meet or let them see it for themselves? Back when my tics weren't so frequent or ...words, I didn't think it needed to be discussed beforehand. Now that my tics threaten people's lives and sexually harass people, I feel like a warning is probably best. Loved the stories!

I am pretty open with people usually. In a past relationship, I explained that I had Tourette's as cool as possible and it set the tone that I was comfortable with my disability and they can as well. The only thing I would worry about is if they thought that my tics were some sort of show, instead of part of my disability.

I am a new subscriber and I’m so happy to have found you!! You help me understand my Tourette’s more and know how to act and public with them instead of being scared and nervous.. thank you 🥺

0:25 well... my apology for writing tics with a 'k'... I am from the Netherlands! I have had 3 years of English at school by now. So that's why my English sucks lmao. 😂😂😂
