A man I dated for three years, and was engaged to, dumped me for another woman. At that time, he told me that he wasn't in love with me and that he didn't even like me except for the first two or three months we were dating. This was shocking to me. When he is showing you love and working at keeping you Happy daily. 4. When he is being Transparent and Vulnerable with you. His Character is his Currency! When he is LOVE and showing love and is Led by God, then his Currency is invaluable. When he is rude, disrespectful, bitter, trifling and lazy than he ain't worth a penny! LOVE IS INTENTIONAL LOVE DOESN'T HAPPEN BY ACCIDENT :its DELIBERATE : its INTENTIONAL : its PURPOSEFUL Try not to confuse attachment with love. attachment is about fear and dependency and has more to do with love of self then love of another. Love without attachment is the purest love because it isn't about what others can give you because you're empty. It is about what you can give others because you're already full.

I honestly cried listening to this. Literally CRIED. All these things no one teaches black women when we are younger. I can't help but think of all the pain that I could have avoided if my dad would have taught me this at an early age. It could have saved me so much heartache. I had no idea that men play so many games in dating .....when women are just simply trying to be loved. Thankfully I never had kids with any of the men in my past. That was actually the one thing I WAS smart about. Childfree and grateful. I know that it's never too late to make better decisions in regards to men. It hurts to hear this, but I'm glad someone is finally warning us as women. You are appreciated, brother.

Love in and of itself is PERFECT. However, humans are imperfect and do not always operate in the space of love, or come from a place of love. When you say you cheat, yet you still love, ok. But your cheating caused pain. Love does not hurt. Your choice to cheat HURT. Your wife was in love, and loved you despite the pain you caused. A husband’s bad choices HURT. And bad choices are not coming from a place of love.

Oh my gosh he's so good, this is wisdom y'all. I learned so by 28 yrs old, I didn't devulge my life story, I hid my weaknesses for at least 2 yrs into a relationship. First date he asked ,WHY I WAS SINGLE?!? LIKE what's wrong with you...your too pretty to be alone, like..you must have a man and your not telling me or what's wrong with you. And, I stuck ta saying, oh I just wasn't compatible with whoever I dated basically that's it. That ish works y'all. He was NOT getting into my weaknesses with me, and he was way more guarded than he let on. He said I had a wall up, but he had fort Knox up and canons up. So they will preach be open right off the bat, but beware that stuff he's digging for will be used against you until he really surrenders. It's like that movie War of the Roses.

I love when you post these. I listen intently every time. I think love is a lesson that you learn a little more about everyday. You mess up and then you try again. Love vs in love is two different things. In love is a comfortable feeling. It’s a certainty and you can feel it. It’s not desperate, it doesn’t cause anxiety. It’s a choice. When you personally make that choice there’s no turning back.

This is an awesome vid. This was explained so well and I am so appreciative. A man getting married before he is in love reminds me of endurance athletes. Despite the obstacles, the pain and the unforeseeable challenges they still enter the race. They will put their will aside to finish the race. I have coworkers who have married, divorced and remarried. My nieces have married. Sometimes I feel God has forgotten about me. I am almost 50 and 19:20 - 19:29 has been my conversation with God since I was 40. He's said, My grace is sufficient. 24:47 - 24:58 is my mindset. The guys I met in my youth thru my 30's didn't even try to hide the fact they were after one thing. So now I am guarded. But Tony you've been a blessing. I am learning to lower my guards, but stay aware. Be blessed and thanks for sharing.

Man . I can’t stop listening to you. Feels like the big brother I never had.. someone to really put me on game and give me a different perspective. It’s so valuable to me. I just turned 24 last month. I’m still young and not looking to get married anytime soon but this helps me weed out folks before they can even begin to waste my time. I envision myself to be a very valuable woman, especially when I hit my 30s. I wanna know all of this before then! Lol thank you T!!!!!!!! We are so lucky to have you fr

One of the number one reasons I continue to listen to your videos is because you take your time to make us “overstand”!!! I really appreciate how you take your time and give us examples to further our understanding.... you are truly a gift! Merry Christmas and happy new year !!

I know this is 3 years old but I am watching this for the first time and really taking it in. I can understand understand how this happens. Getting vulnerable is a process. It takes trust. Trust is earned. So yes fully opening myself fully would take a complete commitment and then proving to me that you can walk that talk. I definitely understand and makes sense. If a woman is honest and healthy mentally and emotionally- she will have the same experience

I have concluded, I will basically never understand men and maybe in my twenties, I would have tried, however now, I am just literally too tired.....
@rachelleenterprise80725 жыл бұрын
That's how I felt but just keep listening to him. He's so calm, you can't help but accept what he's saying and then your fatigue will die out because you'll stop internally contesting what he's saying. This is what I used to do, contest because it don't sound right. Just let go & listen to him. Remember: This is for our knowledge. What men do may not make sense or even be right; it's just what they do. He's just giving us the 411 on that so at least we know how to move. (Not saying move like a man though). Just having this knowledge saves dating lives.

Yes, that is the West Indian way. Being raised by West Indian parents you’re not going to hear many apologies face to face. I’ve learned in my adulthood it’s ok to express a sincere apology and in doing so it doesn’t make me a weak person.

That’s the way a real man should behave, my boyfriend is the same with me. You protect the people you love how by keeping them from harms way, by nurturing them, by providing for them, by respecting them, by being loyal and devoted to them.

Thanks for sharing with us wonderful knowledge of a man's perspective of the way he Loves and the steps it may take him to fall in love. I usually get upset that men are so emotionless, meaning they don't express their emotions at times, but now I understand it has to be with not wanting to drop his guard. This has reveal so much I will be alert and cautious when I start dating again. Right now this Chica is growing. My growth has been a beautiful journey.
